Tiskix had started attack. What the heck? I thought to myself. This isn't the order spaz pyro I've heard about and know about..... Triskix had gone after the ladies, but I had managed to stop him....at least for now.....
"Don't you dare harm those ladies," I glared. "I'll beat your face in Pryo. What has gotten into you....."
"A dam pact," Triskix answered. "And now I have to adhere to it....but that is only for Minx......for you Tamex....I'm doing this because I hate you..."
I stopped abruptly. What the?
"You don't know enough about me to say that," I answered.
"You're an annoying ladies man that gets in the way and runs of on a whim. None of the worlds need a person like that," Triskix answered harshly.
I felt a strange hurt.....no one had ever said something like that to me....not even the teachers back at the academy.....I shook it off....or rather tried to.....
"I am....different," I said. "But I have my own goals and my own freedoms unlike you pyro. And I will uphold what I believe."
"What you believe?" Triskix asked laughing. "Well I believe in my Leader, and when he says shoot I shoot. And now the target is you......."
"Is that really what you believe you should do Triskix?" I asked.
A strange look appeared across Triskix's face, but it was instantly dismissed back to the harshness. I stared at him for a moment.
"So this is the Leader's doing...." I smirked. "You're not free......to have your own goals or anything are you?"
Triskix gave me a death glare and charged forwards. I stepped out of the way and up a tree. Triskix knocked into the tree and tried to shake me out of it, but I had a good grip.
"You're not even free to chose who you kill? What kind of life is that? It's stupid!" I yelled at him.
"I'll kill you Tamex, I will," Triskix yelled.
From the tree I looked and saw Minx and the girls hiding in the nearby brush. I had to keep them away from the danger......I laughed in the tree.
"You can't even climb a tree right now," I taunted. "You can't do anything but listen. I get that you want to kill me for leaving, but I want to know about little Lady Minx....Why would you want to kill her?"
Triskix stopped shaking the tree for a moment and looked straight up at me.
"Because my Leader says so," Triskix answered his red eyes glowing at me.
Suddenly a sound erupted from the brush Minx, Aidex, and Xyta were hiding in. Triskix turned his head and headed off towards the brush.
"No!" I shouted climbing down the tree after him, but I wasn't fast enough with my big feet and rabbit ears. He was going to get to the girls!
"Noooooooooooo," I yelled.
All of the water withing the surrounding leaves and brush washed fowards and splashed onto Triskix forcing him back. He stopped and looked at me.
"You want to die that much Tamex?" he asked.
Suddenly fire broke out on one of the limbs. I quickly put it out.
"Stop it now! Triskix I am done with this. Even if you serve your leader, you can't use him as an excuse anymore!" I yelled.
Triskix darted fowards and rammed me straight into a tree. I felt my ribs scream as they came into contact with each other. A large crack rang into my ears.
"N....o......" I said quietly. Things were fading quick. I couldn't stay concious........
I opened a portal and stepped through. Tamex's energy was hard to sense and flowed from different points almost like a river, but I soon found it's source.
As I entered the Thicket, I transformed into a buck. My antlers were fairly large and stuck out in the brush. I had startled a nest of birds, but they became quiet again when they realized that it was only a buck. As the birds fell into silence, the quiet nearly startled me. I shook my head a bit. Tamex's energy was around....as well as two other nobodies.....and Minx.
I wanted to leave immediately. The pact I had been forced to make.....but it was too late....I had sensed her meaning the Leader had sensed her. I felt the flow of rage which wasn't mine. With it came crimson death eyes.
My body moved fowards uncontroled by myself. I walked through the grass and desnse brush towards the group. I saw them all laying down in a clearing. Uppon my aproach, the two fawns in the group looked up and then backed up.
"A.....nobody......" the first said her voice full of fear. "But........"
"But his energy......" the second continued. "Tamex awaken!"
A rabbit near the first fawn sprung up startled. I recognized the blue bandanna on his head instantly and glared at him.
"Tamex," I said in a harsh tone," For leaving the Organization you will die."
The shocked expression on Tamex's face turned a stone cold look.
"Now pyro," he started. "What has gotten into you?"
"And where is Minx," I continued pretending not to hear.
"Minx," the first fawn repeated. "Wait.....are you of Oblivion? Triskix! It's him! Xyta! Run!"
The second fawn learing her friend jumped a bit but was stuck in the deer in the hedlights position. They were both shocked into paralysis. Tamex moved quickly fowards.
"She is safe," he answered. "So are you going to tell me what this is pyro?"
"She's a member of Zero.....and you are an abandoner....both of you will be executed," I said flatly.
"Wha- you can't be serious pyro...." Tamex started.
"I am," I answered.
I leaped fowards and with my antlers held down and smashed Tamex into a tree. The two fawns frozen by fear instantly came back to life.
"Tamex!" one screamed.
Tamex had his back agaist a tree, and his two large rabbit feet pushed agaisnt my antlers. I pushed fowards further into the tree, and he was slowly being crushed.
"Aidex! Xyta! Get Minx out of here!" Tamex yelled trying to force my antlers off. He moved down his feet and kicked me in the face. I drew back and glared. The two fawns reached down in the grass and picked up a sleeping rabbit.
"Minx," I said glaring.
I charged fowards, and the two fawns ran carrying Minx.
---------
I slowly awakened to someone shaking me......a full body shake......Suddenly I realized someone was carrying me. I opened my eyes fully and found Aidex carrying me away with Xyta.
"What's wrong....." I asked. The shaking was starting to hurt.
"Minx can you run?" Xyta askeed.
"Y-yes...." I said still unsure of what was going on.
"Good! We have to get out of here! Triskix is coming!" Xyta yelled.
"Triskix?" I asked. "Why....."
"He had a bloodly look in his eye," Aidex said. "And he attacked Tamex and said he was going after us next!"
"What!" I shouted. I looked behind Aidex and saw a large buck chasing us. His red eyes were a burning red. Triskix...... I thought to myself
----------------------
I continued to chase the fawns and the rabbit through the thicket. Birds flew up startled everywhere. All the while I hoped they would get away.
Out of nowhere Tamex dropped down and kicked me. I reared up and stomped the ground.
"Don't you dare harm those ladies," Tamex glared. "I'll beat your face in Pryo. What has gotten into you....."
"A dam pact," I answered. "And now I have to adhere to it....but that is only for Minx......for you Tamex....I'm doing this because I hate you..."
Tamex stopped and looked at me crossly.
"You don't know enough about me to say that," he answered.
"You're an annoying ladies man that gets in the way and runs of on a whim. None of the worlds need a person like that," I answered harshly.
I had never meant to say it.....it was the leader's thought not mine.....but I had said it. Tamex looked hurt.
As I walked fowards through the brush, I caught sight of two fawns and a white rabbit. I looked at them and they looked back.
"A nobody," the first fawn said looking at me sharply.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" the second fawn asked.
The lady rabbit didn't look at me but curled up on the grass.
"I'm Tamex," I said taking a bow....or rather trying to. "I'm just a wanderer and happened to end up here. May I ask who you two are? I can tell that you two are nobodies as well....and the rabbit......"
The two fawns looked at me, then at each other, and the back at me.
"I am Aidex," the first said calmly.
"And I am Xyta," the second continued. "And she is Minx."
"Well hello then m'ladies," I said taking another bow. "It is very nice to meet you both. May I ask why you are here?"
"We are seeking refuge......from other nobodies," Aidex said calmly.
"Yes.....we are here to be at peace for a bit...." Xyta continued. "Now tell us. Why are you here?"
"Ah hahahahah well I just kind of ended up here...." I laughed.
Both fawns looked taken back by me, but I just stood straight again and smiled. As I rubbed the back of my head, I found that my bandanna was still there. I laughed a bit.
"So then you are just a wanderer? It seems way too coincidental to be so," Lady Aidex started. "We just left a bad situation, and now another nobody has found us.....You are not lying are you Tamex?"
I looked at them both and then shook my head. Both fawns seemed to sigh a bit, and the rabbit cried softly. I hopped over to her quietly.
"What is wrong m'lady?" I asked.
Lady Minx looked up at me in a terrified manner.
"I don't want it....I don't want it...." she cried quietly.
"She's been like that for a while," Lady Xyta commented her voice reflecting a strange harshness.
"What don't you want hun?" I asked.
She wouldn't answer, and I began to wonder if something was medically wrong with her. I closed my eyes and started examining her cells, but I found something strange.....they were different.......not like the ice like Lady RaXi's but a completely different type of cell.....it astounded me. A completely different type of cell.....it preforms the same function....but it's entirely different.....what is this child?
I wanted to know a bit more, but this wasn't the time. I looked for damages, but there was nothing needing to be healed. I sighed and sat beside her. Lady Xyta and Lady Aidex lay down, but remained silent. All that could be heard in the Thicket was the occasional sound of birds.
After a time, I moved a bit closer to Minx, but she neither protested no moved away. When we were were shoulder to shoulder, Minx laid down on my shoulder and was asleep.
All the time, a strange thought kept coming to mind. What is this child?
I felt the fogginess of a memory coming to light. When Mat was still in school.......
"Students today we have a guest coming. His name is Verex. He is here to lecture on Human Strength. Everyone on your best behavior or I'll send you to the pits of despair ok? good," the teacher said some what blandly.
It was just another day at the Academy, but apparently a nobody was coming to lecture.....Great......
I put my head on my desk and prepared for a nap. I hadn't gotten once as good as the time Dr. Eicris lectured, but I was hoping for a really good one. As this Verex guy came in we all could instantly tell he was a nobody. A few of the students laughed nervously.
"Thank you all for having me," Verex said calmly. "Now then, I have been made aware that most of you will become researchers relatively soon, and I hope to show you a new feild of study. It is called the Extent of Human Strength. Now then who can tell me what I mean by that?"
Yep....nap time........but this guy did sound pretty interesting in his own right....I had to give him kudo points for that.
A few brave souls who thought they could answer raised their hands, and Verex called on each of them.
"Do you mean the limit humanity has on their muscular strength?" Taylor's voice asked.
"Partly, next?"
"Do you mean the strength of the heart to resist nobodies?" another voice from the back of the classroom asked.
"No," Verex answered. "Come now...anyone?"
"You mean the strength of the connection between DNA and magic," I said just as blandly as the teacher had talked about Verex. My head was still on the desk, but I was sure they could hear me through the desk.
"Each of us have different levels of connection, and that is the basis of other magic users. Researchers have been trying to maximize this connection for years, but it seems unchangeable because it is written into the very DNA of people. It is the Extent of Human Strength in comparison with their DNA or as you called it the Extent of Human Strength. It's mean of you to not have used the last part."
A silence erupted after that. The teacher laughed nervously. I guess he feared for his job. Couldn't blame him. I was about to go back to sleep when I heard Verex start up again.
"Very good," he started. "What is your name?"
"Mat," I answered.
"And where did you learn the proper definition of Human Strength?" Verex asked.
"From a book," I answered.
At this some students laughed nervously again. I sighed and wondered if this guy was going to let me take a nap or if I was going to have to explain further."
"Ok, then tell me Mat, what if I told you, you could change the level of Human Strength?" Verex asked wryly.
"I'd say that either you destroyed the genetic code or made your own with a mix of amino acids and a hell of a lot of magic," I answered.
"Very good," Verex said. "You've even thought it through.....but then if I made my own genetic code what about the cell?"
"The cell wouldn't be able to read the code due to the fluctuation of magic and therefore would die. You would have to create your own cell that could read the genetic code you made. It's a pretty simple process when it comes down to it. The only problem is linking the DNA with enough magic to exstend human potential," I said.
"Very good," Verex continued.......
The memory faded, and I found that I had nearly gone to sleep. Lady Aidex and Lady Xyta were still awake, but they appeared asleep. I looked at the lady rabbit sleeping on one side of my arm.
"Verex....." I said a loud. "Wonder where he is now heh......"
I stepped out of the porthole and entered into the orange house. Yamil was sitting on the Window sill, looking out at the sunset. He let ouot a gentle sigh and continue with his visual on the city. I snuck up on him and placed my hands over his eyes. He grabed my wrist and before he could take a further move i leaned in and spoke gently in his ear.
"Do you ever stop watching over this city?" he loosened his grip on my wrists and continued on with the conversation facing the sunset.
"Only when it is to watch over you." HE gently moved my hands away from his eyes and turned to face me.
"I was starting to think you would not come to me."
"I only took a second or two."
"Your right. but it....." He looked down at my dress and a smile spread across is face.
"YOu do not think that is appropriate for Agraba do you?" he asked. I was wearinga sun dress with a bright flower design on it.
"I was thinking," I avoided his gaze and looked about the room, " that we could go to some place were theres a sea... or ...." Yamil cupped my cheek and turned my head so i was facing him.
"Or some place that doesn't remind you of blood shed. I understand, i have felt that too..... Do not be afraid to say what you want my love, Whatever it is you desire,I shall enter into the fiery depths of hell and steal it from the devil itself if it will make you happy....I shall see it done."
I had never imagined that he would leave Agraba for me, if it was what i wanted nad desired he would do it for me in a second. I held his hands and placed my head on his chest. "Lets go to Australia, it's nice and sunny and there are beaches, with sand and the ocean.... have you ever seen it?" i asked
"I have heard that it is beautiful, but i have never seen it myself."
"Then to the beach it is." I said and opened a porthole behind me. I pulled on Yamils arms and backed slowly into the porthole. We came out of the porthole on a wide open beach with no one in sight. I chanegd into a pink bikini with short matching boardies, while i was at it i changed Yamil into some red hawiian styled boardies that where red with yellow flowers running up the leg of one side. It matched hi hair and seeing him in shorts was kinda funny. I laughed and as he looked down and saw what i had dressed him in he ran after me.
We played a game of chase that ended in the water, as we bobed up and down to the waves Yamil turned to me and said.
"YOur right it is beautiful, but," He paused and looked to straight in my eyes "You are more mysterious and enchanting than the very depths of the sea."
"Mysterious??" i asekd he blushed and turned away. i smiled and splashed him with some water. Then as the sun began to set we walked out of the water and headed to a beach house near by.

I covered Anamx with a blanket for good measure, didn't need him getting cold...and then returned to my seat in the corner of the room. I sat comfortably in my lovely velour covered chair. So comfortable in fact...I was beginning to fall asleep. Slowly, it began to take me...and then...there was a tiny knock. My eyes snapped open and I sat straight in attention.
"RaXi? I… I don’t want to interrupt and if you wish not to open the door it is fine, I’ll understand. I just wanted to know if you are okay, and to say sorry about… about everything. I should fight more. Tanex, he told me something… I mean...…” The familiar voice of Nyx explained, only slightly muffled by the door. “Are you okay RaXi?”
"Enter." I directed in a firm tone. I hadn't locked the door...I rarely did. After all...any who dared to enter MY ROOM with malicious intentions... let's just put it this way...they were safer OUTSIDE and worlds away.
Slowly the door opened, followed by it softly being closed once again. Nyx came into view...she approached the bed...thinking it was me. "RaXi...were you sleeping? I can come back later..."
"Nyx." I spoke up. She snapped in the direction of me at once. I laughed lightly...for just a moment. "Did I scare you?"
"No! Not at all!" She shouted. Liar. I thought happily. "Who is this then...?" Slowly she looked at his face. "RaXi! That's...!"
I smirked and motioned her to be silent. "Allow the child his rest, and keep your distance...unless you want another memory so soon." I instructed. She backed away slowly. "What is it Nyx? What have you come to speak with me about?"
She fidgeted nervously. I knew almost immediately...she feared what my opinion of Tanex was. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry...I never fight and..."
"In your own time Nyx." I cut her off. "Not all of us are MEANT to be fighters. Sometimes it takes greater strength to stay your hand. I realize this...there is no need for you to apologize for who you are."
She smiled at me gently. Then gave me a serious expression. She'd decided to tell me something. "RaXi. Tanex wishes for us to return to him. He's warned me...once our memories have returned...we will have to make a decision. To stand with him...or against him."
I turned to the window and placed my finger to my lip reflexively. Sighing deeply...I tried to ignore the memories flooding me. That and the biting feeling...telling me our place was with those of the past. It was the path that made the most sense...the apprentices reforming and reestablishing the XIII. THAT was what I envisioned.
"I owe this man nothing Nyx..." I began. "However...I will not leave...not hand over Oblivion to him. This castle is OUR inheritance. Well, there's that and..." I stopped momentarily.
"And?" Nyx coaxed me, coming closer.
"And he has one more thing of value to us. Something perhaps greater than all the stone, mortar, and memories...He has Triskix. And we cannot be whole without him." I smirked. "Therefore...I will seize them both...out of his cold, fading hands if necessary."
"So you intend to return to Tanex?!" Nyx spoke quietly...as though trying to hide my intentions.
I gave her a sideways smirk. "I haven't decided that yet Nyx. Who knows? Maybe I'll seize power and reunite XIII under MY banner."
Her face went totally emotionless...I could tell she was trying to decipher whether I was serious or not...I didn't reveal that. How she would be torn...just who's side would she choose in such an event? I toyed with the thought in my mind.
I felt Triskix leave the castle and smirked. So then...Lexian should be paying me a visit soon...very well....
"Nyx. A favor please." I asked rising. "I know...I'm sorry for always asking so much of you...but I cannot leave this child alone and unguarded. You must watch over him until my return...if someone should come...anyone...even Lexian or Triskix...spike your power and let me know. I won't let him from my sight just yet...but there is a matter that demands my attention. Do you understand?"
Nyx recognized my countenance immediately. She smiled. "Count on me. Not even the Leader himself will enter without you knowing."
I grinned widely and put my hand on her shoulder. "Now that is what I like to hear! Very well then, I will return shortly."
I portaled to the Proof of Existence and waited patiently. It didn't take long...Lexian appeared and slowly approached. I could tell he was still slightly drowsy, yet he had come specifically following MY energy. No doubt Triskix or the Leader's order...to retrieve the child from my possession.
"Where's Anamx RaXi?" He questioned just as I'd assumed, trying his best to ignore the monuments around us.
I smiled gently. "In a safe place." I answered. "No need to worry about him. But Lexian. I think we need to talk..."

Please don't continue! Hehe, I have the conversation between RaXi and Lex going already.
But I don't mind you continuing with your POV Nyx! ^^
