myOtaku/theOtaku Profile Links Updated
If you haven't read the announcement at OtakuBoards, you may be interested to know that you can now display a link to your theOtaku.com profile. The link appears underneath your custom title and avatar.
Previously users were able to include their myOtaku links there, but the updating notification feature has since been removed from myOtaku. Also, we figured a lot of people were migrating over to theOtaku.com's Worlds anyway.
If you still have a myOtaku though, fear not! You can still link to your myOtaku via your OB profile. It's just that this will no longer appear on every one of your posts.
One of the benefits now, though, is that if an OBer clicks on your link, they will see your entire portfolio - not just your blog.
So, if you're an OBer and you want to link to your theOtaku.com profile, now you can! And if you've got a theOtaku.com profile, there's no better time to join OtakuBoards.

Okay, so it's been a while coming, but here it finally is. 
Funtime Thread of Humor and Mirth (and Junk)
I think just about every forum has its random stuff/joke threads and this would definitely be ours at the moment. You'll find a lot of selected YouTube clips here, as well as some other stuff.
So if you're in the mood for a laugh (or if you just want to contribute your own craziness), this thread comes highly recommended.

Japan_86 recently started a thread for talking about anything and everything related to Sakura-Con 2008 (which will take place in Seattle this weekend). Give a shout if you're planning to attend.

Now, this isn't anything new, mind, but I thought I'd draw some attention to how the Lucky Star thread just keeps on rolling. The best part is the way it seems to regularly attract both new members (here's to you, Sabrina) and old members who're new to the show.
Link leads to the most recent page. To be fair, I should also tip my hat to the Bleach and Naruto manga threads, which have maintained a similar long-term liveliness. Confession: I read these regularly even though I don't follow either series. The speculation and debates are interesting even when you have only the faintest idea of what's being talked about.
*Just for fun, what would you subtitle the Lucky Star thread? (The first thing that popped into my head was Lucky Star: Don't Forget Your Sailor Uniform, followed by Lucky Star: Bringing Chocolate Coronets Back in Style. You guys can do way better.)
