I thought no one would ever find me, but I guess I was wrong.

Please tell me who you are; I'd like to know who bothers reading random posts about nothing. XD

I also have a DeviantArt account: HERE! I have some stuff up there that can't be uploaded here, so you might want to go check that out~!

Yearbook class is so weird sometimes

We just took the Yearbook staff picture, and it was waaay awkward because we all crammed into the Men’s Room. XD; I have to say, that’s probably the last time I ever plan on going in one of those places. D: It was really gross and smelled weird, lol.

TELLIN’ MAH LOVES ON VDAY. It’s going to be cheesy, but hopefully sweet enough that they’ll like it. And not totally reject me. D:

UPDATES oAo;

Man, sometimes I hate the Otaku. It’s really hard to pretend that I’m doing something else with the huge logo and stuff up there. XD;

Anyway, update on the love front. oAo; I haven’t told them yet again, but I got closer to it, sort of. They were doing a bunch of cute things again that made me laugh, and then they got mad at me because I was “making fun of them.” So I told them that it was because I thought it was cute (they got pissed that I called them “cute”) and so I rephrased it with the word “endearing.” That works, right? It’s close to saying I love them, right? >>;

Yearbook class is making my brain into mush

Blaaaaah… I’m in Yearbook class right now, and I’m supposed to be working on my spreads but I’m brain dead so I’m not. XD; Actually, I’m typing this as if it’s my Environmental Club story right now,...

Four Chambers, One Heart

Four Chambers, One Heart
by Kyrianne Stryker

If all the world's a stage,
my heart is the one
lurking
drifting
hiding
behind the curtain.
It has seen very few sleeves,
and it's become hardened
to heartbreak.

But somehow,
the shell surrounding its
beating
living
breathing
seems to be cracking,
exposing itself to the potential
lies
pain
rejection
but also the possible
truth
love
acceptance
as it lets out a tiny glimmer of hope.

Some believe in
Love at First Sight;
I find that notion ridiculous.
Love is something that grows first from
a seed
a spark
an inadvertent brush of the hand,
and then flourishes into
a blossoming tree,
fragile
yet sturdy,
bending in the sweet sighs of the wind.

I wrote this on a whim the other day, out of pure inspiration. Usually I'm not very good at writing poetry, but this really just wrote itself. I'm debating on whether or not to submit it to the school's literary arts magazine; it means a lot to me and I'm not sure if I want people to ask me about that, but I also feel like I should share it. What do you think I should do?

Why is Death Note so sucky now?! D:

Seriously, I don't even look at any of the stuff that shows up on my feeds for Death Note anymore, unless the title sounds really interesting. Because everything for DN now -- cards, wallpapers, fanart, etc -- is so superficial and almost complete CRAP. Where did the intellectual thriller aspect of it go? If I see any more 5-minute MS Paint drawings of L smiling and being OMG SO KAWAII!!!1one!! and surrounded by strawberries (did he even eat a fucking strawberry ever?? besides on his cake, which doesn't really count because he was eating it for the cake anyway) and pink frosting and sparkles and ribbons and bows and blah blah blah I'm going to have to cut a bitch. Or kick a puppy. Or punch a baby. SOMETHING DRASTIC, GUYS.

Okay, sorry for the rant. It's just getting really annoying. I liked DN before it ever became so mainstream, and the fanworks were actually good. Now it's just a pile of crap. Stupid mainstream, ruining everything.

In other news, I didn't watch the inauguration today. I did, however, just Google up his speech and read it. It was a good one; but it makes me wonder who actually wrote it, since I know political leaders have speech writers. Kind of unfair to that guy, since no one even knows who he is and he gets almost no credit for his work. I mean, that shit was eloquent, man.

YAY BUSH IS GONE. Hopefully Obama will do a good job picking up all the broken pieces he's left of our country.
