Apparently, the tournament was very popular. Massive crowds filled the arena with jubilent cheers. I stood at the end of the end of the balcony which seemed to stretch on forever, eventually meeting up with the other audience that led to the spectacle. The sun had set by now, the area surrounded in darkness. The lights along the walls lit up like a rainbow, the world suddenly alive and turbulent.
I walked silently from the small confined space I was in. To be honest, I wasn't sure why I was here. But, I only knew it involved the ginjinkas.
"So Faye, are you participating in this tournament also?" I asked her. I might as well get some information of why everyone was competing. Maybe it was a year supply of berries or Pokechow for the winners or some other prize.
She looked at me, narrowing her eyes. "No, I came late, so I am just watching for now."
"Hn." I looked at the battle that was going about. Suddenly, a fresh wave of nausea rushed over me again. I looked away from the battle and tried to focus on a food stand nearby with lit lanterns hanging from the roof. However, this soon became unfit as I began to break out in a cold sweat and grew dizzy.
"Are you okay, Asao?" Faye asked tentatively. I couldn't fight or control it anymore, "No..." I muttered and moved away from the cosplayers, stumbling through a crowd. Faye followed closely behind, her eyebrows knit together in suspicion and worry.
However, before anything could be done any further, I rushed back to the bathrooms, leaving Faye outside to wait. The only other person that was in the bathroom was a small pichu boy with bright eyes. But, after I started coughing up a red liquid, the kid ran out quickly, leaving me alone, moaning and panting.
After a few moments, I moved to a sink, leaning over it, letting the nausea subside. It seemed to have finally backed off. I made a turn to turn a knob and wash my hands, when something on my right thumb caught my eye. A small, black spot was there. As I moved my hand about, the droplet caught the light and reflected blood-red, then back to black. Curious, I lifted it to my nose and sniffed.
It smelled like iron, blood, perhaps? For all I knew, it could've been paint off some wall outside. I hastily washed it off in the sink and dried my hands, wiping my mouth. The foul taste in my mouth still stuck. I spat in the sink, the saliva slightly red.
Then, the dizziness returned and I fell to his knees on the cold, dirty floor, clutching my sides. It felt as if someone were stabbing me from the inside. I tried to fight it off, but it came back stronger. And, suddenly, I lost my grip, my vision started to remerge with a different scene.
Faye pressed her ear to the men’s washroom door. “Asao? Are you okay?” She pressed open the door to see me writhing on the floor, my face not visible.
"Asao! We have to get you out of here and to a hospital.” She sighed at the sight of him, rushing to his side. I stopped and lay motionless. Faye held her breath. "Asao?" She asked. I stirred, and she exhaled. "C'mon we have to go now." She touched my side.
My hand met hers and I pulled myself up. "Are you alright?" Faye asked. "Could have been better," I answered as purple eyes fading in, replacing my scarlet blood eyes.
"But, the club, won't be the same anymore."

I hope this is alright. I hope I got Faye's personality right or at least close to it. Absol's can fortell disasters, so I think he saw a similar vision that Shuppet had but how it started. I had writer's block so I couldn't think of anything better.
