Intertwined

To be honest when I read the dust cover I was skeptical. I mean (one can time travel, one can raise the dead, one can tell the future, one can possess another). That sounded like a hard sell to me. But as I was waiting in line at the store I read a few pages.

Wow, you would think to have a main character have four voices in his head would be a tough thing to pull off and make believable but kudos to Gena Showalter she did it with eloquence and a twist of humor. The characters are real and despite an unlikely bit of circumstance and coincidence you love the them the minute you meet them.

This story takes you and pulls you. You cry and laugh and root for young Aden Stone. You feel for Mary Ann Gray and in the end you want more. With the vampire princess Victoria and her friend and protector who also happens to be a werewolf, Riley you find out that Aden is even more special than he knew and his past is intertwined......ha-ha....with Mary Ann's past.

All in all it's a great read and Gena Showalter's style hits home to the younger generation keeping it fresh and new. I definitely recommend reading Intertwined and as the ending suggests I hope there is more because I can't wait.
