commish wips..

im happy that my commissioners are asking for a sailor moon fanart.. but designing their characters is a bit mind-draining.. XD

the pic on the left is part 1 of 3.. it's a starlights commission paired with a senshi in a gown.. im not so sure about the design i made for the gown but yeh.. that could be it.. XD

the pic on the right is a poster-ish commish that's gonna be used for someone's game ad.. it's chibimoon and saturn.. but i have to design a gothic-ish battle costume for saturn and the deadline is fast approaching..! ( _ _)||| u'll probably see this in Dragon*Con if u go there.. i think it's gonna be this sept.4... so yeh.. not so much time but i'll do my best since class is over.. =P

im just jumping from this one to the other commissions coz it's kinda exhausting to focus on just one.. *loves to get busy* XD

there are 2 more commission wips but the owners doesnt want the wip to be out on any site.. o.o" *suspicious* oh well.. im keeping my tags in those sketches anyway so they wont have a chance to steal it away.. *cautious* =P

other than these commission wips.. i have lots more wips to do.. gaah... just looking back at it makes me sleepy.. lol... i feel so lazy just because school's just ended but raaah..! ganbarimasu.. *clench fist* osu..!

first of all, sorry for flooding ur backroom.. XD i had the chance to go online today and i know i missed a bunch and u missed a couple from me.. so here's a little update..

old doodle last month.. i was just bored in my math class and doodled something on the notebook.. purple colored pencil.. *yeh thats purple.. random pick* XD nothing special.. i just want to share it.. lol... yeh.. *throws tomatoes* XD

this is also a sketch from last month.. an exercise for my drawing class.. still life drawing.. my first time drawing a skeleton.. really.. tsk.. a figure of a person wont do but a skeleton is acceptable.. o.o *coz there's no such anime/manga style in skeletons* XD

but i think i did pretty well in this skeleton drawing.. lol..... =,="

hibari.. yeh.. the pencil shading is actually done.. i'll be coloring this soon but this week is another jammed pack week so i doubt i'll have anything done anytime soon.. *sorry bic.. this trade is taking me so long..* =/ but i'll try to work on this asap.. *^^;*

yeh.. he's barely seen.. the wip doesnt look much like hibari and so is the final but i hope the colors will make it work somehow.. XD

i have a few more wips but i think it's better to just look forward to the finished one.. *^^*

this one is actually for a scale project.. eeh... they're more on contemporary art so crits gave me the "unoriginal" comments... >x<" yeh ok... anime/manga style has a common factor.. the eyes and their figure.. gaah.. i was honestly expecting them to comment about my originality for this snow white version.. they were intrigued by the drawing style first before they realize that this is some kind of an illustration for snow white... *fail* >,<"

i drew the sketch on a cartridge pad.. just to show them the idea but the paper got beaten.. like it's all damaged, teared up, dirty, etc... coz it's huge.. *same size as the previous wip* so it was really hard to work on..

so i drew it again on a watercolor paper.. gee.. it cost me $10.. and i just wasted most of it coz i only drew in the middle.. x.x

the second one on the right is actually the finished one... i was stretching the paper coz it's watercolor so it wont get bumpy when dried.. XD

this particular crit day has been a good one actually.. i got a dedication from my classmate which was totally unexpected.. like she came up with a piece for this same project which was inspired by me as she said *coz she was watching me while i drew that snow white piece* XD and so she dedicated that drawing for me.. kyaah.. she's so sweet.. i'll post the pic in the features soon.. *^^*

wips from school..

yeh.. i get spares everday anyway so i draw whenever i can.. but nothing's close to getting finished.. XD

^ this was done on my spare last week.. im planning to do more but i dont think i can put more coz its like on the middle and adding more will kinda ruin the page.. and this random drawing is for my korean classmate.. hahah.. well she liked it so im just gonna give it to her.. it was really just a random doodle.. XD

^ this is for another commission about something thats flying towards u.. ehh.. this is what i came up but she wants more.. well.. the idea was drawn in a tissue til i gathered my courage to ask for a piece of scratch paper on the table next to us coz it was lunch time and we didnt bring our stuff so yeh... scratch.... XD

this is my classroom for the remaining 2months.. *summer term...exhausting....*

im always early in class so during those 30mins wait, i do this.. XD just this half took 2 days of waiting period.. *about an hour or less* yeah.... it was really hard to draw a gigantic portrait.. just because im used in drawing portrait doesnt mean the same thing applies with a different size of paper.. yeh it makes sense.. XD thats our room.. and u can see we're not that many in the class.. thats also why i took this class in summer coz it's really hard to get in this course.. we're less than 20.. not even close to 20 i think...? o.o but yeh.. we were doing some kind of "draw a model" and i did this during the waiting period.. XD

^ this is really huge... i dunno when i can finish this.. hahah.. but yeh... u see the size... it's probably close to 20x24..? maybe.... XD the drawing in the wall was also my drawing but it's not worth mentioning coz it's crappy with all my lines getting crooked and and wiggly.. anyway.. it's fun drawing in this size.. i might as well get myself used to this kind of size for future references.. XD

that pic is all done in 2B pencil..*the lowest graphite we're allowed to use for the class..* it is so much softer than a mechanical lead thats kinda challenging for me because of the texture it's giving thats something im not fond of.. i like my pics smooth but yeh.. here's the close up..

this is supposed to be sakura and this is supposed to be kakashi.. XD

but instead of sakura, it's looking more like sephiroth..?! lol..

and just as when i thought im about to draw kakashi, the face kinda drifted away so i stopped.. im not sure about kakashi's hair though so i just imagined how it'll look like if some guy has the same hairstyle.. to be continued.. XD

do u guys have color suggestions..? im not really sure what colors to put.. rune's color is permanent *the girl in the middle..* thats how the owner wants her to look like but the others.. i dont know.. thats also probably the hardest part of this commission coz she left the character design to me..

any suggestions..?

i was working on some colored pencil work for my collab with somegirl but i got lazy so i stopped halfway.. feel sleepy already too.. XD

ehh... im not sure if this is really what im gonna give her for the collab.. i still have some unsketched ideas.. XD
