“Jason Vessalius, your sin is Jealousy, and you are also guilty.” The hood man said to me and a black whole appeared under my feet and he let me got. The last thing I saw was Mandy reaching out for me as I fell into the dark abyss.
I had heard of the abyss before. It was a place where people had sinned was sent to waste away and be forgotten. This was the abyss…and it was a place that I didn’t want to be. I felt like I had been falling for a few days now and that vertigo feeling left me as I felt like I just kept falling. I just wanted to land and be able to walk again. The man said that my sin was jealousy. When I think about it he was right…I was jealous. I didn’t think that it was fair that Vanessa was the one that was chosen to be the head of the house because she was younger then I was. I never showed it towards anyone. But it guess it was obvious to the man that sent me here.
“I’m sorry…for everything.” I muttered to no one.
The people that I hurt the most were Mandy, and John. They were always there for me to talk to but I never opened up to them about how I was actually feeling. I felt my feet hit something and I realized that I stopped falling. I put my hands in my pockets and started walking I didn’t know where I was going but anywhere was better then being surrounded by nothing.
It was really lonely here in the abyss. “Just how big is this place?” I muttered to myself looking around. “I thought that I would have ended up running into my sister here but I guess not.”
I continued walking until I found some objects in the distance. I walked a bit faster so that I could see if anyone was there. But no one was there. “I wish that I could just get out of here…” I sighed to myself and leaned up against one of the objects.
“You seemed troubled.” I heard a male voice and I looked around then looked up to see a teen around my age above me looking at me upside down.
“I am…” I answered looking back down at the ground.
“Do you want to tell me what’s on your mind?” He said as I heard him hit the ground with a light tap in front of me.
“I messed up. I pushed my friends away and I yelled at my little sister…I was jealous of her though…she’s younger then me and she was going to be the head of the house hold.” I told him. I felt a lot better getting it out.
“That sucks, I’m sorry to hear that.” He said, “My name is Fang by the way, what’s yours?” He asked holding out his hand.
“I’m Jason, It’s a pleasure to meet you Fang.” I smiled at him taking his hand.
“I over heard you saying that you wanted to get out of this place, maybe we can help each other out then.” He said and I looked at him funny.
“I thought that once you were thrown into the abyss you could never get out.” I told him.
“That is true but the loop hole is to make a contract with a chain.” He answered.
“Really?! I didn’t that it was possible for even chain’s to get out of the abyss.” I said to time.
“Make a contract with me and I’ll get us out of here.” He said then everything started to make since…he was a chain that’s how he was able to hang upside down.
“So how do I make a contract with you?” I asked him a bit confused.
“Just say my name and that you agree to the contract and I’ll take care of the rest.” He said staring back at me with his ice blue eyes.
“Okay Fang, I agree to your contract.” I said to him and stuck my hands in my pockets. “So now what?” I asked.
“Don’t freak out.” He told me as he took a long stride and pulled me in the rest of the way and his lips pressed against mine. I could feel a liquid pour into my mouth and I swallowed it. Once he pulled away, I felt my knees weaken and he held onto me so I would hit the ground. “It’s okay, it will all be over soon.” He said and I felt my mind drift away and everything faded to black.
