-Snow-
Candy disappeared in front of me. I didn’t think that human’s had any powers, but I could be wrong. I waved as she disappeared then slowly lowered my hand back to my side.
“I wonder…where home is for her…” I muttered it was more supposed to be for myself.
“She went back to the human world. Don’t worry she’ll be back I promise.” Lady Amora said and I looked over at her to see her smiling softly at me.
I blushed a bit and quickly turned towards the door. “W-Whatever I’m just supposed to protect her. I don’t know why you would assign s human to me anyways.” I said and then before she could give me an answer I walked out of the room closing the door behind me.
She probably left because of me anyways. I don’t blame her to be honest. I probably wasn’t the easiest spirit to be around. My past is a big reason to that. Lord Azar just used me to have other spirits cower in fear and bow down to him. I was a terrible spirit, even though I’m not there now…what would make me any different today from back then?
“Hey.” I looked up from the floor to see Talon leaning against a pillar with his arms crossed and his usual serious expression on his face. “So the human’s gone?” He asked.
I nodded, “She said she would be back but she had to go home.” I replied.
“I didn’t think that human’s had the power to do that. Though she seems different.” He answered with a small smile.
“I’m sure that the goddess is helping her get home. Why did you leave her alone earlier?” I asked a bit curious.
“She seemed a bit scared and I left to see if she would follow me, but that didn’t happen. Besides, when you think of it are we really the best ones to be with her being spirits of war and protection.” Talon answered.
I looked back down at the ground. To be honest I don’t know if it was the best decision myself either. But we can’t go against lady Amora’s commands. “I was given the task to protect her so I’ll do my best, just please promise me this Talon.” I said and looked back up to him. “If I ever snap don’t let me hurt her.”
Talon pushed off the pillar that he was leaning against and walked over placing a hand on my shoulder. “I already planned on watching you to make sure you didn’t. You’ve been here for years and you’ve only snapped a few times. You’re doing much better.” He moved his hand from my shoulder and put his hand on my head and rubbed my head “You shouldn’t worry so much, just relax and be yourself.” With that he walked off.
“But Talon that doesn’t make any sense.” I said putting my hands on my head and flattening out my hair again.
“Don’t think about it too hard. I’ll see you for training in the morning.” He waved not looking back. “You should probably go eat something since you missed dinner showing that human around.” Then he turned the corner and disappeared out of my sight.
I sighed. “I don’t know what I’m doing.” I muttered as I turned on my heels and walked to the kitchen to find something to eat. But I wasn’t really all that hungry as the same time. My room was in the same direction so instead I just by passed the hall that went to the kitchen and went right to my room.
“Candy…will you come back? Did you leave because of me?” I muttered to myself as I opened the window to my room and looked up at the evening sky. I wonder if she has the same sky.
Why does the girl interest me so much? Maybe because she’s entertaining. I felt a little sad when she left. I wanted to be with her a bit more. I enjoyed hanging out with her. I really wanted to learn more about her world. Though I didn’t want to see like a stalker. Ugh I’m no good at this kind of stuff. I was created for killing more then protecting and getting to know things not to mention get along with others.
I rest my head on the window sill. I guess I’ll just have to deal with it. If she comes back, she’ll come back.
