-Snow-

I waited till she has disappeared completely to step back into the castle walls. I was waiting to be sent to Lady Amora’s room to be punished for taking my anger out on the wall, but nothing happened.

With a bit of a sigh of relief I closed the doors and continued on back to the training grounds. Like I thought Talon was sitting there patiently waiting.

“Sorry about that.” I apologized as I grabbed my arm and looked away from him. “I shouldn’t have gotten that angry over something so simple.”

“No you shouldn’t have.” I looked back at him to see him standing in front of me and he placed a hand on my head. “But you didn’t hurt anyone. A wall can be fixed. I told you you’re getting better with controlling that anger of yours.”

I looked away from him once again. “It’s only because of the seal that Lady Amora placed on me is why I can control it.” I answered.

“No it’s not just that, you’re trying yourself. I can tell.” I felt his hand leave my head and then he pushed me.

I stumbled a bit and then looked at him confused. “Hey.” I said as I regained my balance.

“Come on we’re not done with our training for the day.” Talon motioned for me to follow and back out to the center of the training grounds we went.

I just stood there as Talon got into a fighting stance. “Snow get ready.” He told me.

I wanted to its just…I couldn’t get my body to move. Maybe it was because I was still feeling guilty with what happened earlier. I looked away from him and the next thing I knew I felt something make an impact with my stomach and I went flying back into a tree. I hit is hard and I slid down to the ground. When I looked where I came from Talon was standing there on one leg as he lowered the leg that he kicked me with.

“If you’re going to zone out on me, I’m going to kick your ass.” Talon told me and charged at me.

As he came towards me he made his wings vanish giving him more speed and agility. He was serious about this match. He pulled his fist back and then thrust it forward towards me. I ducked and rolled to the side to get out of the way of the punch. Right as I got up onto a knee he was right there on top of me about to hit me again. All I could do was dodge again and get up to my feet. One thing that I did have above him was my dodging ability.

Once I was able to get back up onto my feet I was able to take his neck punch and redirect it away from my chest with my left hand and threw a punch with my right. Was this match my punishment for putting cracks in a wall earlier? If it is I’ll accept it as a punishment. But I’m not going to go down very easily.

Talon dodged my punched and upper cut me lifting me into the air a little. Then he kicked me once again and I went flying once again. I did a back flip and landed on my hands and feet skidding across the ground a bit. That really hurt. Damn when did I start to become such a lightweight with pain? I use to not care if I had a huge cut on a part of my body and I was bleeding badly.

The only thing I could do was get my arms up in time to take his kick that was going to the side of my head and I couldn’t keep my balance as I hit the ground. I sat up with my arm shaking and Talon’s fist was inches away from my face, but he didn’t continue through.

“Don’t let your head be clouded. What’s done is done. Accept your mistakes and find new ways to get around them and make yourself better.” Talon told me as his fist turned into an open hand. I smiled a little and took his hand as he helped me up.

“Sorry about that. You really kicked my ass this time.” I said grabbing my hair and pulling it over my shoulder so it was easier to get to my ribbon that was pretty much untied from the fight.

“You know you should put your hair up higher for fights. You could get your foot caught in your hair when you fight since you tie it together so low.” Talon commented.

“There are days where I want to just cut it, but I know if I do that the seal will break and I could snap.” I answered and did what talon said and put my hair up higher so it was loose on the bottom up it was a little higher up off the ground now. “Why did it have to be my hair? Why couldn’t it have been something else to hold the seal? Like a tattoo or something?” I questioned pushing my hair back behind me once again.

“I don’t know. Maybe Lady Amora just felt like you needed a change to be able to start adjusting to your new life.” Talon shrugged as we started walking back to the castle.

“But it’s so heavy. There are day’s where it’s hard for me to lift my head because of all my hair.” I complained.

“Well maybe take a bath once in a while and it probably won’t feel as heavy.” He stated.

“You know I hate getting into water. I would rather clean myself then get in water.” I said looking away.

“You can’t get everything clean and I’m sure that your going to start smelling sooner or later and then you’re going to be forced to take a bath.” Talon smirked and as if I was on cue as we turned the corner a bucket fell on both of our heads.

It was filled with some sort of paint…pink paint. I lifted the bucket up off my head enough to see Lee on the floor holding his stomach from laughing so hard.

“Lee…” Both Talon and I said in unison.

I chucked the bucket at him and he got out of the way. “Get your ass back here!” I shouted and before Talon could grab me I was off chasing that damn narwhal down the hall.
