The Snow Has Overstayed Its Welcome

The only thing anyone talked about (No school monday: snow) Tuesday and Wednesday was how there would definitely be no school on Thursday because we were supposed to get more snow. Tbh they were talking about it so much at school that I was actually starting to doubt it.
Wednesday night I had a dream that I woke up and the snow went all up to my second story window. I was really about to panic but then I woke up for real. And of course no school because of the actual snow and no school today either.
By now everyone's like, ' ok, the first few snow days were fun, you can stop now, Mother Nature..... please?' myself included. They've started adding more days to the school year which doesn't really bother me that much, but I'd like to get back to our regular schedule.

Summary: I honestly didn't even glance at the book summary and I'm not that far in it yet. But, it was written by Marie Lu, who wrote the Legend series ( simply amazing, I cried when that ended) so I'm trusting that this new series will be good, too. It's interesting so far.

Vortex by S.J. Kincaid; last book in Insignia trilogy ( everything's a trilogy nowadays)
Thoughts: Best book of the series in my opinion. I'm glad I read it. You discover that the author was actually trying to convey this big life lesson. Good if you like futuristic, outer-space, comedy, friendship, books.
One Word: Meaningful

False Alarm

I looked at my grade for English and it turns out I actually got an 87% on that presentation. The reason I thought it was 75% was because on the rubric the teacher have us after we did it, he gave us a 6 out of 8 which does equal 75%.
So I still have an A in that class. All I'm gonna say is:
I don't know what happened, but I like it.

Busy

I've been very busy these past couple days. Mostly with work I have for a history class. I have 40 pages of my fat history textbook to read by Friday so I'll probably just be reading for 4 hours tomorrow.

I had to work on this English project last week with 2 other people. They LITERALLY did NOTHING.
I had to make a PowerPoint and a 10 minute presentation by myself when it was supposed to be a project for 3 people. I don't know who's worse: the guy who said nothing to me since the time we were assigned to work together or the guy who said TWICE that he was going to work on it with me during lunch but never came. * sigh* sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who cares.
Anyways, we presented it yesterday and "we" by we, I mean I got a 75% because we weren't pronouncing things well and there weren't enough visuals. I'm used to getting A's or at worst a B, so this is kinda devastating for me *depressed sigh*. Even though those guys did nothing I think I still should have thought about it more and realized the PowerPoint needed more visuals even though I couldn't think of anything right away. I'm doing good in English, but if this brings my grade down too much I'm seriously going to cry be really ticked. Guess I need to focus more......

I started drawing a picture but didn't get to finish it because I've been so busy. I'll probably get to finish it Friday.

Me: What On Earth...

I guess you know you really like something when you feel like it just goes by too quickly. (I feel this way about a lot of things *sigh*)
I'm just glad that most anime producers aren't as cruel as who ever decided it was a good idea to end every Parasyte the Maxim episode with a cliffhanger. You don't realize how horrible the cliffhangers are until you catch up with the series.
