Perseid Meteor Shower, Ho!

Speaking of hos, you know who turned out to be one?

Don't answer that. It's an inside joke anyway.

So yeah, Perseid Meteor Shower. Checked it out for a bit last night starting at about 1:30am. Went out with a jacket, cell phone (for time), flashlight, iPod, and a towel. Then I climbed onto the roof of my house, spread the towel and laid down for the next hour or so staring up at the sky while listening to the Chrono Cross soundtrack.

In the following hour, I saw eight meteors, six of which were really bright and awesome. I also saw one mechanical orbiting satellite.

I was pretty okay with that, especially since I started feeling cold and realised I wasn't really even looking for meteors anymore and was just lying on the roof listening to the Chrono Cross soundtrack. So I came back down at about 2:30, found some people still in the chat . . . and that was that.

So yeah. 2008 meteor shower. Good times.

Also, the Chrono Cross soundtrack is pretty much the most soothing soundtrack ever. Just puttin' that out there.
