Alexa's buddy finished Ghostbusters and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune this week during his visit. That's hilarious. Man wanted to play through the latter before his vacation was over (today), played it on easy, and marathoned it like a madman.
And now he loves the game. Like everyone who ever plays that game. That's just how ridiculously charming it is.
So now for some funny stories that have come up tonight . . .
Alright, remember that Elena Fisher cosplayer I was upset about missing at the con' in the last post? Turns out she was one of two people on Cosplay.com to have done Elena Fisher cosplay along with a girl in Ohio. Makes sense when you think about it. It's still a shame that I missed her at the con', but hey.
Alright, so friend of mine brings this to my attention via said-cosplayer's dA account, more so to show me her cosplay that she wore at AE. Then as an added message (including a winky), she says to me, "check out her favourites on her main page..."
Right at the top, newest favourites . . . . . is me. That's pretty effing funny.
Then it gets better . . . so we have two comments on that particular picture, one being the dA account's webmaster, the other being a girl who praises the look and the obscurity . . . and who also has a very familiar screen name . . .
. . . . . it was the Ohio girl from Cosplay.com! The one who has also done Elena Fisher cosplay!
It really doesn't get much better than that. So yes, it seems 4 people have favourited that particular photo now: our beloved Shadowlight (who is awesome and deserves all our love for being awesome), the two Elena Fisher cosplayers, and - of all things - a Lara Croft cosplayer with Indiana Jones cosplayers in her favourites.
So while discussing this with people online including with Amenonine (whom everyone also loves), I found out she has a bunch of another guy's photos from when we were at UBC doing cosplay pics. That means new angles of stuff from that day! Booyah:

Also, random friend of mine (dressed in lolita) found me at the con'. We got a picture together. She put it on her Facebook. Earlier mentioned friend stole it and sent it to me due to my Facebook lackedness:

So yeah. Last night became pretty amusing in the end.
And Uncharted 2 is gonna kick all kinds of ass. Up and down the streets. With a uranium-powered boot. With steel toes. That have chainsaw blades on the ends of them.
Because chainsaws make everything better.
Almost better than Uncharted.
