Hey all I got some really exciting news to share!
First off I just got done my calendar picture! I sent the png file to the Hanel, the person behind the calendar project. I’m really proud of myself for even joining the project alone, but the picture is simply wonderful. I’ll upload a small portion of it soon. It’s not like my usual pictures; this one is more scenery and my first one I’ve made. I really love it and can’t wait to see the project come to head when the calenders will be on sale sometime soon.
Second good new is that I got my computer! But it’s still in the box. I have to get a video card and power supply for it from newegg.com. When I was talking to the sells clerk he told me that I could just buy this computer and put in a better video card so I can use photoshop and etc without the computer lagging and such. Then I talked to my very computer savvy friend and he said I will need a better power supply so the video card won’t fry my computer. So for over a day I studied up, learned, and applied myself for know what kind of video card I needed, what was going to work best for my needs and how to install it. Really, the whole process was VERY RAGED FILLED, even getting the computer itself but it will be worth it once I have the computer I wanted for years. I’m also going to continue learning about computers because next time I’m building my own. For the money spent on my new computer I could have build a much more powerful one. But everything happens for a reason so I’m taking everything with stride. Now the only thing that needs to be done is for my friend to give me the green light for the video card I picked. Then I can order it and throw it in my computer. :D Boy, I just can’t wait. There are so many programs I want to use and so many things I want to do. 2011 will be quite the year for my art! I also got a web cam ;D I’m really going to have fun with that!
The third good news is that the kitchen, my mom and sisters room got a new t.v. We got them yesterday and finally got the converter boxes hooked up. Now we got some new channels (after almost all of our channels got taken by Comcast since we don’t have cable or any converter boxes). So I’m really happy for them!
On Friday me and Brandon went out and saw Tangled in 3D. It was my time seeing a movie in 3D and it was really great! I loved the movie; I recommend it for anyone really. I loved the music too. I’m not a fan of musicals but I found myself enjoying the character songs. All together the movie tickets plus snacks (2 large popcorn's and two large ice's) cost under 50 dollars. Like wtf? When did the movies become such a luxury trip? >:Y Brandon paid for everything but I still felt like I could of invested in a theater system and etc for the same experience. None the less the trip was great and it was our first trip to the movies together. He even paid for my latte on the way home, he spoils me so much. XD
After the movies we went to get something to eat in the mall. Well, I went to a really great asian food chain called “Sakura” and OMFG THE SAMPLER BOY AND CHEF WERE SO HOT. I SO wanted more then a piece of teriyaki chicken from him. XD To add, the chicken was REALLY GOOD. I love sakura’s and I eat there a lot but this store really blew me away with their food. I could have jumped the counter and hugged all of them back there. It was really awesome seeing the hot chef cook my food. I felt SO shy that I was afraid to look at him. X3 it was awesome when he asked me if I wanted the sauce on my food, I looked dead at him. God, he was cute. *U*

I’m having a wonderful day! How about all of you?
Right now I’m using “illustrator” as in VECTOR ART. Never in a thousand years had I thought I would even bother with it again after college. But I’ve been gaining more interest in it after seeing acrylicana’s and Blush art’s works. What really made me finally go back into the fire was this crash course. It made learning illustrator so simple and easy! I usually get overwhelmed trying to use it but since it goes through all the tools I’m able to get a good grasp of it. The only thing about the course is after you get to week three you have to PAY a membership to see it for “free”. It doesn’t even really matters because by that point you can start creating with the knowledge you have and just go to other beginner tutorials for anything else.

I REALLY want to work in flash next and start working on animation. I remember taking the class in Moore College during 11th grade and the process of making the frames. It’s not really hard but tedious. So at least making simple things move should be a good stepping stone for me.
The following week has been a very fun! My friend Brandon came over and we went to the Franklin Hills Mall that was like 1-2 hours away out of random. Okay not that random, he mentioned it the night before and I was like “we should do that just cause” and we went with that XD. The trip was mega fun despite the wet and cold weather. He got me stuff and everything; I felt so spoiled X3… I really do love my friends. He got me the best T-shirt ever that says “National sarcasm society, Like we really need your support”. He actually got me that t-shirt before he came over.
When we went to the mall he brought me WHAT I THOUGHT WAS a sonic robe, but come to find out it’s a sonic snuggie/"throw robe". So I pretty much got an oversized backwards robe with sonic on it. :| On the contrary the it makes a great blanket (which it is but with sleeves) when you sleep on the coach or playing video games so I love it. Once you want to do more then that it gets frustrating since it’s over sized and kinda retarded. He also brought me a lotion that I wanted in Bath and Body works. It smells really good and reminds me of him now since he used it too. XD He was going to buy me a latte form Dunkins but the damn store was closed when we were coming home. We did more but I don’t want to full up the post with that only. XD
I HAVE A NEW CRUSH… Well kinda sorta, it’s a mild crush. More like adore… His name is Alex Mercer and I met him in the mall. When I saw that blade for a hand I knew it was love. No wait when I saw him cut up a solider like sushi with his huge claws THAT’S WHEN I KNEW IT WAS LOVE… I have a thing for mutant bad boys (fan girl squeal). I’ll be a douche and let you guys figure it out what I’m talking about, who ever get the answer right gets a free sketch or something. :P
