Is REALLY disappointing…
Not because I didn’t win but the overall finalists… FFFFF, okay I was trying to be a little mature about this but I’m going to say it how it is.
Half the finalist entries are not that great looking and I don’t know why they wore chosen. The concept might have been good but the execution wasn’t up to par. At least not compared to other entries that didn’t make it.
Forget the part that my picture was over looked, hell I thought a lot of entries surpassed mine anyway (yay confidence). But why the hell did some of the entries made finalist when there were a handful of better/original/ entries were better suited for the convention. Just… WTF.
I’m more puzzled on how some entries DIDN'T make it then the ones that did or the fact I didn’t make it at all. Then remember, these designs were suppose to go on shirts and random stuff. *looks at some finalist entries* Yeah… :
I actually like #1 and maybe one or two others. The rest of them I'm generally indifferent/don’t give a hoot for. But damn, what a slap in the face for me and the other artists that worked our asses off just to see the less polished entries go through. If more better looking entries made the finalist spots I wouldn’t feel cynical about the whole thing.
Okay, I’m done being an a**hole for the year. I hope you guys still love me and don’t think I’m a whiner about this. (big sparkle desu eyes) I just need to get the frustration out… There’s always next year but… I’m pretty turned off by this the whole thing. :
There are bigger and better things waiting for me anyway. XD
