~*~ Absolutely Invincible British Gentleman ~*~

The United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland (Arthur Kirkland)

Age: 23, male
Birthday: April 23
Height: 5'9"

England has messy, short blond hair and green eyes. According to France, he's rather slender.

England is a fanciful, blunt, obstinate former pirate who used to torment Spain. In modern times he claims to be a gentleman, however he is cynical, sharp-tongued, prone to rough speech. England is also, apparently, the "king of losing things", and France has described him as "somehow extremely useless when it comes to matters not pertaining to himself or America".

England's interests include: embroidery, craftsmanship, literature, rock music, and giving scathing criticisms to America's movies.

He does not know how to express himself, leading to others often misunderstanding him. Despite his cynical, realistic view on the world, he is said to be a romanticist before going to sleep. When drunk, his personality will change from that of a gentleman to a bitter and violent delinquent. Also, every year when the Fourth of July comes around, his condition collapses.

It has been mentioned that England has brothers, one representing Scotland, another Sealand and the others presumably Wales and Northern Ireland, who hate him and used to drive him away with stones and arrows when he was a child, and even went as far as to mail him curses.

England and France have a deep-rooted historical rivalry. While they often have petty disagreements, they appear to respect each other and are quick to team up if a third party enters their argument.

It appears that whenever England tries summoning demons, he always ends up summoning Russia instead.

Despite being called "Jerk England" and being promised that he will one day bow to him, England, though annoyed, does look out for Sealand.

He's quite bad at expressing himself. He himself knows that people often misunderstand him, he uses this fact for self-depreciating jokes.

He hates France. Although their rivalry is a material for jokes, he quite admires France's culture.

The food he produces is quite terrible but he thinks he is quite good at it. He also knows that other people complain about it.

His temper was quite stormy during the decades after America's independence.

Yes, my first King was from Normandy...belt it. The rest were English...well...9 or 10 weren't...George was German and didn't speak a word of English......and uh...there were quite a few Welsh and Scottish in there too in fact...oh bugger off...

I'm...a bit surprised...

Space Exploration

I was recently in the United States a few weeks ago, Texas, more specifically, and I decided to drop by NASA to find out what's going on a bit. Learn something new. What I learned was quite fascinating really. You have the typical everyday general admission, which I must say is really geared towards the children. Then you have your 'tram tour' a little rail system that takes you around the park, showing off the Saturn V and your older rockets, with a tad bit of information regarding the Space Shuttle. More recently they talk about the International Space Station and Orion. But there is another tour, one that takes you...behind the scenes, as it were. If you are willing to drop the 62 GBP required (or 100 USD)then you can see and learn far more. Well I paid those 62 Pounds and saw quite a bit. Including, but not limited to, everything you see on the tram tour AND, all three mission controls. Yes, there are three. I didn't know that either. It was a wonderful excursion one that I would gladly pay $100 to repeat.

A Good Idea

Actually I think it started in New York...but, its a fun idea.

.:Mint Tea:.

Fine black tea expertly blended with peppermint and spearmint to deliver a delightful tea with an invigorating aroma and refreshing mint taste.

The kind of tea you can find all over the world, but I believe it is most common in Africa and the Middle East. The serving of mint tea can take a ceremonial form, especially when prepared for a guest. Whereas cooking is women's business, the tea is a male affair: the head of family prepares it and serves to the guest, usually, at least three glasses of tea.

Darjeeling

I was browsing around on the internet, trying to distract myself from whats happening around the world, and found this video...

.:Darjeeling:.

Arguably one of my favorite teas, the light golden black tea is considered the champagne of all teas. Expertly blended with a delicate and unique character that is likened to the Muscatel grape.

Darjeeling teas are grown in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains in northeast India. The high altitude, soil and climate of the Darjeeling plantations contribute towards the unique and delicate taste of this tea. Darjeeling is often regarded by connoisseurs as one of the finest teas. Darjeeling is best drunk black or with a touch of milk.
