On the subject of work
I just got home from work, yes at the candy store.
I crafted all you theO users a little something from solid sugar.
It is, naturally, a crystal onix made from rock candy.
He's quite cute, I believe. The crystal onix lives in a cave in the Orange Islands in the anime Pokemon universe.
Strangest Phone Call:
"Popcorn Plus, my name is Stephanie. How can I help you?"
"Yes, is this the South Coast Rehab Center?"
"No ma'am, this is the candy store in the mall."
"Oh, I have the wrong number."
Most Interesting Customer:
An aged man came by and tried fervently to write a check and pay a bill.
At the candy store.
After we told him many times that he was at the wrong place, he admitted that he once had an aneurysm and promised to go to the bank tomorrow.

Oh, I was playing platinum, and I had to check to see if the Gligar was shiny.
Gligar in platinum is more bluish purple rather than the fuchsia I'm used to seeing. o.o;

The last request I did here was a pic of a girl and her boyfriend, two people I had never met. She was very pleased with the result, and left me a fabulous, emoticon filled comment.

Original Character Fan Art Submissions
I don't know what it is about Pokemon, but it is one anime that I just don't like to see fan-produced characters from.
Naturally, when the Version Vibrant feature of filtering 'Series' or 'Fan' characters was revealed, I was more than optimistic. It can be accurately said that I removed myself from my chair and did something of a victory dance.
But, alas, 'original characters' are showing up through the filters.
How hard is it to check a little box in the submission page, fellow Otakuites?
I think it's a common courtesy to accurately fill out the forms.
Also, I'm of the opinion that Pokemon converted to humans should be considered fan characters as well.
