Halloween/Apollo Justice Rant
So my Halloween was a bit of a bust. Mostly just sleeped, got in costume, wandered around. Ate something funky then chilled in room watching Goosebumps. I go to SIU, which is known for our Halloween bash. Campus pretty much closes down, as does the town. About six years ago people tipped a car, so we we're going to go out tonight...but. Yeah, we were a bit freaked by all the horror stories.
In other news I finally finished Apollo Justice! Whatta blast. The Ace Attorney games are probably my second favorite game series of all time, right behind KH. No seriously, I suddenly had the urge to read Apollo Justice fanfics... SCARY I KNOW!
All in all, I still pretty much hate Klaiver. WHY DOES HE KNOW EVERYTHING, SMART ASS! I so relate with Apollo, we basically start freaking out at the same time, which is nice. Its really nice not yelling at a game going "NO DANTE! DON'T PROVOKE THE DEMON SPAWN! SWEET JESUS WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO MEEEEE!". I knew the twist, didn't stop me from going 'WTF' though. ALSO! There's a scene where Apollo tells Klaiver not to 'forget his principles' (or something like that) and he replies 'Oh, I haven't forgotten them' and he like...WINKED. I swear the only thing that popped into my head was kisses being blown at Apollo who then attempted to out maneuver them, only to get hit in his crazy bangs. I can has ship?
I LOVE THIS GAME! I WANT MORE! MORE APOLLO! MORE STRANGELY ATTRACTIVE HOBO!PHOENIX! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! I miss this game already...

Still going as Mia Fey from Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney. I made my magatama today, though god knows how I'll get it to stick to the scarf. I did get material for the scarf, but I don't think its gonna be long enough, I don't really like the color and I would have to still sew it up. But that's all good 'cause it was Joanne scraps.
So the plan is to use my five day weekend to get shoes, figure out ebay (for shirt 1), and hit up Goodwill for a belt. So I'll be shopping for acen crap rather then going to prom. As for the bra...well. I think I still have to drag my mama out for that. I'm too much of a chicken to do it myself. I'm almost done! Whew! Also need to find some gold paint for my attorney badge...

Oh geez, I really have to start getting organized about this. I roughly have one month to get everything together. I have the funds, now I just need the means.

I'm gonna try to find a seamstress for the dress. There's no way I'm gonna learn how to sew in 1 month and make the dress. The shoes, should be easy, I'm so not going to worry about them. Mia's shoes are funky but I'm not gonna deal with it. The scarf is gonna take some digging around my mom's closet and hopefully something will work. She was really into scarfs five years ago or so. The jewelry will be pilfered from my mom as well or made out of sculpey.
So really, finding a seamstress will be the most important thing to do. Thankfully, my hair is the right color, so I don't have to find a wig/dye it.
Oh, ha ha, forgot to say. I'm going as Mia Fey from Phoenix Wright. Maybe I'll need an "Objection" sign...
