i have a friend who just told me that she wants to hurt herself for not being perfect. she said that she doesn't want to die, but she feels that she makes no ones life better by being in it, only hurts them. she said that she tries too hard to be perfect. and when i told her that she wouldnt say that, that she mattered to me and her family and friends, and that if she hurt herself i would make her wish she killed herself while she had the chance, she said "what if i already did? and good. that way, i'll imagine grell when i die" grell from Kuroshitsuji. she is also an otaku. i also have a thing for chainsaws, thus her reason for saying that. she made a joke of it and naturally i was furious that she said that. so, of course, with my very little self control and horrible temper, i said that this was serious and i was worried about her and that if she made one more joke about it, she just lost her best friend. and... she made a joke. she said "...sure. i'm watching anime and not paying attention to anything your saying,so..." and... (we were on FB when this happened) i defriended her. it would really help me out if someone gave me advice. i seriously hate it when people do this because i think people need to solve their own problems, but i am at a loss. i'm sorry.
