Hello everyone,
Well first of all im glad to say that im still alive and that im back home :) Im also glad to say that the weather wasnt anywhere near as bad as everyone had anticipated (just as i figured), just high winds and alot of rain here. Work friday night was pretty rough, there were alot of frantic people everywhere buying all sorts of stuff, which is sad because about 85% of them probably didnt even use it. When i got off work i went to my mom's house and on the way there it started raining and the winds picked up, nothing major though. When i got there, i hadnt been there 20 minutes and the power went out lol. So that rendered my computer and some other electical stuff i had brough useless, so i ended up falling asleep sitting in a chair. I woke up off and on a few times and around 7pm yesterday (saturday) i came home. Oddly there was still power here and it hadnt gone off all day because my radio's time hadnt been reset. I unloaded my computer from my car and set everything up and connected all my stuff, then i watched tv for a little bit.
After watching tv i played a couple new games that i had bought a few days ago -
Robotech Invasion (xbox)
Metal Slug 4 and 5 collection (xbox)
Eternal Ring (ps2)
I also played ESPN NFL 2K5 (xbox), ive owned that game for a while though, Ill post about the 3 new games on my videogame world shortly after i finish this post :)
Since ive been home, ive been wanting to watch Ghost in the Shell (the first movie). Im not sure why though lol, I do want to make some wallpapers for that movie, so i may give it a try in a little while. Its been a few days since ive created anything so im due up for making something, thats for sure, plus it looks like they need me to request the additions to some new wallpaper/multimedia sections. they usually add about 30-35 sections everytime they update, i think they added 27 this week, so it looks like i should get to work and do something produstive :) Ill start with Ghost in the Shell, and i just remembered that i need to make a wallpaper for Lupin, since ive already made one each for Jigen and Goemon, its only fitting that i make one for him right? lol.

Also, when i post on my other world, it will be the first time ive posted on there in a while lol. I may do some updating on there today, maybe a typed list of every videogame i own divided for each system. That would be time consuming, yet fun and unconventional. I like doing things that other people havent done before, so i just may do that. I'll work on this stuff for as long as i can stay awake today :) If any of you have any suggestions on some cool stuff youd like to see me post about, whether its anime, videogames, feel free to let me know. im always up for having something to work on, so send any ideas you may come up with :)

Hello everyone :)
im sorry its been a few days since i posted, and it looks like i may not be able to post, or create wallpapers over the weekend (as i normally do) because of Hurricane "Ike" i believe is "his" name. There isnt any evacuation orders or anything like that for where i live, I live pretty far inland near the Dallas area, so we will mostly be getting high winds and rain, etc. Ill be packing up my computer in an hour or so and going over to my mother's house , because she wants me, my step brother and sister to stay the weekend over there with the bad weather and all, so dont get the idea that im staying over there because i have to, or its because of safety regulations lol. Im just taking my computer over there in case some freak accident happens to this house with all the high winds, like falling trees or damage, stuff like that. She has DSL over there, so i may see if i can get it to work on my computer while im there. The weather shouldnt be too bad though, so dont worry, i just wanted to post so you all wouldnt think anything happened to me :)
Other than that i havent been up to much, That hurriane is the only thing anyone on tv and/or up at work has been talking about all week, so its pretty aggravating at times watching everyone freak out freak out over the situation. If you are wondering why im not all too worried its because that a couple years ago when the hurricane flooded Louisiana, it came through here just like that one did. I got home from work that same morning, and laid down on the couch and watched "Ong Bak The Thai Warrior"in which i fell asleep about 20 minutes into lol. I ended up sleeping on the couch through the entire hurricane ordeal until i woke up at exactly midnight. everything was calm and i told myself "that wasnt bad at all". A tree fell in the back yard, but thats normal when you live by woods and the power was out for about an hour, but nothing major, no flooding, no riots, or anything of that nature. Maybe im just laid back when it comes to that stuff, dont get me wrong, im always prepared, i just dont tend to exxaggerate the situation like others do :) Ill probably just spend the weenend playing videogames and stuff at my moms house until the weather calms down :)
Well, i hate to go so suddenly, but i hope to have another post up in the next couple of days to let you know how everything is, I thank you all for visiting and i hope to chat with you all real soon :)

Hello everyone
Not much going on tonight, so i thought id put up a post :) Im glad to say that i picked up another subscriber over the weekend, which was surprising, I figured i had peaked out when it came to people subscribing, especially since i hadnt been very active on here the past week in the form of posting and creating etc. Its really cool to see that people are finding my porfolio/world/myotaku/creations, etc. at a decent enough level worthy of subscribing to, it makes me want to try harder and do alot more around here thats for sure :) so thanks for supporting me :)
Im also happy to say that i uploaded 3 wallpapers today, bringing my total up to 70. Its hard to believe that ive created that many, and it surely doesnt seem like i have. I guess time flies when you are having fun right? Here are some links to the 3 wallpapers i made today, I hope you enjoy :)
Other than making wallpapers, ive pretty much been lazy today. I woke up pretty early this morning and started watching some anime movies. I started off by watching Patlabor 2: The movie, which in turn inspired the wallpapers i created. Patlabor 2 is one of my favorite anime movies of all time. Id say it was the "Ghost in the Shell" of our time before Ghost in the Shell ever came along, and now that ive found out that it came out a few years before Ghost in the Shell, id have to hold it in a higher regard when it comes to filmaking and as an anime in general. But being that they were directed by the same mind MAMORU OSHII, it would be unfair to compare them since they are both classics and pillars of greatness in the world of anime. If you havent seen Patlabor 2 The Movie, you should, especially if you like the pace and style of Ghost in the Shell.
Next I watched WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3, another great movie. Its a different movie than Patlabor 2, but equally absorbing. When i watched it the first time a couple years ago i remember stopping everything i was doing and just sitting there and watching it, not wanting to miss anything lol. The plot is great and alot of the characters from the other movies/series return. This movie was a bit more violent and tragic towards the end, but it didnt take away from the movie itself. Its a classic in its own rite and id hold it up to any anime film out there thats for sure, its worth every minute of it, so check it out if you havent :)
Third i watched Lupin the 3rd: Dead or Alive. its one of the 5 Lupin movies that i own and probably a close tie for my favorite Lupin movie next to Castle of Cagliostro. I may be mistaken though because its been a while since ive watched the other 3 movies, so i may end up changing my mind lol. They are all great in their own way :) Lupin has been around for quite a while and i first came into contact with him when they use to show the series on Cartoon Network a couple years ago. I recorded about 4 tapes worth of episodes they had shown before they took it off and during that time it became one of my favorite animes of all time. Jigen has always been my favorite Lupin the 3rd character too, right next to Yamcha from DBZ and a few others lol. In my eyes, Lupin the 3rd can do no wrong :)
Last i watched Castle of Cagliostro, another Lupin movie. This one was directed by Hayao Myazaki (Spirited Away) and its an awesome movie as well. Like all of Myazaki's movies, its an adventure from start to finish. Id say its suitable for children and adults, even though there is a bit more violence than some parents may want their children to see, but nothing to extent of "Akira" or other titles like that, It's kept to a minimum to where it's suitable for just about anyone. Steven Spielberg quoted it as "One of the Greatest adventure movies of all time" - That has to mean something coming from him thats for sure lol.
In between all of the movies and creating, i managed to catch a couple of football games New York & Miami, and Dallas & Cleveland, and in between the games i watched the encore of WWE Raw from last monday to see a couple of matches that i missed .
Thats mostly been my Sunday, just been taking it easy and finding stuff to do. Right now im about to watch volume 1 of Samurai Champloo. Its been a good while since ive watched this dvd and i may end up making some wallpapers before the night is over, if i dont fall asleep first lol.

Hello everyone :) as I promised, i am here with some pics of the current status of my Renaisance Festival costume/Wardrobe :) Keep in mind that im not finished with it yet, and that i am still working on the chestpiece area, the shoulderpads, and the armwear, so try not to judge it too harshly at this point lol, it still has quite a ways to go thats for sure :)

These are the leg guards that i was posting about yesterday, they are actually the leg guards that Major League Baseball catchers wear behind home plate, but they look so much like leg armor that i had to buy them lol. I remember asking the employee at Hibbets Sports "Do you have them in black?" a little bit of humor from the movie Batman Begins. The boots are actually thick Rubber work boots that come up to the knee, they arent the shiny kind, they were dull black and steel toed, so i bought them immediately :) You can also see the black cloth hanging down in the front of the waist area from the belt, it's mostly for looks and it seemed pretty cool when i did it, ill see what i can do with it :) The leg section of the wardrobe is basically finished, Ill have to paint over the little Nike symbols that are on the leg guards, and ive been thinking of adding some small chains or something to that effect to them for decoration, we'll see though, any ideas are welcome thats for sure :)
This is the most lacking part of the costume. Ive come to the conclusion that ill most likely be switching the spandex type sports shirt that i am wearing under the shoulder pads, whit a solid black one that i have. The current ones has gray stripes down the sides and kinda clashes with with the spandex sports pants that im wearing, so ill see about that as well. Right now im debating about the color of the shoulder pads. The original silver color isnt that bad, but ive been thinking of seeing what they would look like if they were black like the leg guards, and or possibly a shinier silver color/more like actual armor. Ill most likely be experimenting with it. ive also been looking around for different things to add to the shoulder pads, like spikes, or skulls or something like that. I bought an electric drill this morning so the possibilities are endless lol. chains may look good on there too, ill figure something out :) The main part of this section that is lacking is the chest area and the arms. Im sure thats where most of my work will be going towards as i move along. i have a big imagination, so ill find something that will work. Ill be going to Hibbet's Sports again this weekend and im sure ill be able to find some arm/elbow guards similar to the leg guards i have. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to pass them buy, im all for any kind of help i can get :)
This is probably the easiest part of the costume lol, the cape . It is actually a brand new twin bed sized flat sheet lol. Im planning on actuall cutting the sheet to a better form and size and im also planning on shredding it and holing it up to make it look a bit worn and ragged, like ive been in some serious battles or something lol. I really liked the color of that sheet though, and i think it goes well with the gray of the shoulder pads and the black leg guards and pants/shirt that ill be wearing. I really like the dark red/burgundy color though, so unless anything drastic happens in which i have to alter the entire costume, ill most likely be sticking with it :)

Ive always been a fan of Paul Stanley, and id suppose using his face paint with mu costume would be paying the ultimate tribute lol.
Well i suppose thats all for todays post, tommorrow ill post pics from a few years ago when i painted my face like Brandon Lee's character from the movie "The Crow" (by Enin's request) lol. I still have them and it will be fun to get people's reactions thats for sure lol.

I hadnt fallen asleep yet so i thought id put up a post for you guys while i was still awake :) I havent been up to much this week, ive mostly been working and sleeping lol. This morning before i came home from work, i bought alot of stuff for my future visit to the Texas Renaisance Festival which i will be attending on Otober 10th.
Its a pretty fun place to spend a weekend, the thursday of that week ill be driving 3 hours to my friend's house to meet up with him and get everything for the stay. We (along with thousands of other people) will be camping out on the actual grounds of the festival itself, so im looking forward to building a fire and camping out the 4 days that we will be there. The festival itself opens up early in the morning, so thats when we will be allowed into the actual festivalgrounds where the shops, etc, stuff like that are, and pretty much everyone will be cosplaying in their medieval style clothes or any other type of costume they may have lol. Last year i didnt have a costume on the first day and i had to deal with being an "Outsider" lol. I wasnt treated too well because i guess that since i didnt have a costume the people didnt feel that i was taking the experience seriously. So before the first day had ended, i bought some simple medieval pants and a simple medieval shirt (kinda like a poet's shirt) lol. I also won a huge sword on the first day at a auction one the pirate side of the festival. The size of this sword is unreal, its basically a buster sword, thats the only thing i can really compare it to, ill have to take some pics for you guys lol.
Last year when i made it back home i told myself that i would be prepared the next time i went, and this morning i took further steps to the completion of my costume :)
I bought:
A set of footbal shoulder pads (they will be the basis of the armor i am currently making)
alot of bolts, hooks and chains ( to place in certain areas on my finished costume for effects)
Months ago i had bought some black Underarmour tights and some big black knee high boots, as well as some black knee/shin/foot combo guards that Major League Baseball Catchers wear to protect them from pitchers. Those will be my leg armor (they look exactly like medieval armor lol)
I also bought a Crimson colored sheet this morning which will eventually become the cape i will wear.
In the end, it will look very similar to the costume Gene Simmons wears in the band KISS (the pic at the top of the post) but with my own twist. Im currently in the process of adding spikes to the football pads, and ill have to find something to use for chest/stomach armor and something to put on my arms, which wont be hard at all. Tommorrow ill be stopping by the sports store again to look for arm guards and stuff like that, im sure ill find somethin i can use :) The main portion of the costume is completed though, The finishing touches will be the face paint ill be wearing with will be in the style of Paul Stanley's KISS makeup (ill post pics of his paint tommorrow :)) so im hoping to make a big splash of a scene at this years festival to make up for last year lol.
Right now im watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The secret of the ooze I bought the first TMNT movie last night at work when i was on lunch, it was great to watch the movie in dvd quality, ive only had the vhs copy for the past 20 years lol.
