I finally made it to the A-ranked demon plane...Only to see him leave. Suika thought, watching his long silver hair swish in time with his bushy tail. The most prestigious fox demon that I could only aspire to be like. She sighed, watching his back as he shrank into the crowd. ...Yoko Kurama...
As if he heard his name, his elegant fox ear flicked in her direction and he looked over his shoulder at her. She blushed and looked down with submission. A long moment passed and, when she was sure it was safe to raise her eyes, he wasn't there. It was so sudden... Her light purple fox ears drooped.
"What a pathetically weak demon." The disgusting voice of a revolting demon next to her said.
Her ears pinned back and she threw a kick that knocked him to the ground. He coughed in the rubble flecked dust.
"HEY? WHAT GIVES?" He glared at the petite fox demon. "HE'S the one who want to go to the HUMAN plane!"
Her neon green eyes widened. He...he wasn't talking about me? SLAM! She grabbed his throat with both hands.
"Yoko Kurama would NEVER degrade himself with such an INDIGNITY!" She hissed, showing her canine fangs. Her claws started to glow.
"...Indignity? Obviously, you two ignoramuses don't know how DIFFICULT it is to get into the human plane." An equally appalling demon jeered. "I'd go too, if I COULD...I heard human flesh is delicious." He licked his teeth with his three tongues.
"But of course that freak DOESN'T eat humans." The first demon said.
"Grrr!" Suika started beating on him, considering she didn't eat humans either.
"Hey!" The other demon tensed up. "Knock it off!" He roared, charging at her.
The surrounding demons perked up in excitement, eagerly joining the impending carnage. Suika's claws glowed and she spun, sending aura off them in all directions, lacerating the surrounding company. The smell of blood ignited the interests of every other demon in the surrounding vicinity. Soon, they were all swarming in that direction.
So... Suika closed her eyes in concentration, her fox ears laying back slowly. If it's arduous to get into the human plane...I'd better start training.
She transformed into a giant fox and tore into the demons as they attacked all at once.
