Yay! I finally made a card worthy of the challenge. XDD This was actually my 3rd or 4th try at making a card for the April Showers (rain) part of this challenge. The other ones...I worked so hard on...like I wasted hours on, but I hated them all and didn't want to submit them. XD And one of them, I worked forever on, but I couldn't find anything to do with the text, so I gave up! But this one I like! I actually finished one lol.

Original scan. I actually tend to stay away from scans that are manga ones...and by that I mean, ones that look manga-y. Uh. That makes no sense lol. Ones that...have a lot of detail and colors. I prefer to use the more simple and smooth ones. I guess I just have a harder time with scans like this, but this time I tried it out lol! I used texture and various gradients to create a different lighting. And then the typography which took forever to decide on...I ended up putting that cloud brush behind...and then the red stripe on the side just to, uh, I dunno. Just to go there. XD I like it. Random, I know lol. It's like a book binding?
