So this past week has been a roller coaster for me...
The positive: Made tons of new friends, doing an awesome job as a CA thus far, kicking butt at getting work done, etc.
The negative: I lost a friend.
This 'friend' of mine decided it would be a cool idea to insult my mother in public. This isn't the first time I've felt offended by them, so at this point I decided I needed to step up and say my family was more important to me than our friendship.
I'm sorry, but it's not okay to deliberately insult another person's family. It's not okay to deny your actions and point fingers at another person. It's not okay to think that I would still want to be your friend after you've said those things in the past and present about my family and myself. I'm not stupid enough to let you walk all over me and let you say those things. It's great that you might still want to be friends with me, and in all honesty I would still like to try to be friends with you. But the insults have to stop. You need to learn what you did wrong and admit to your mistakes before I want to look at you again.
