Wished that I was dead
With an aching in my head
I lay motionless in bed
Thought of you
And where you'd gone
and the world spins madly on
that I said I'd do
Like make the world brand new
Or take the time for you
I just got lost
and slept right through the dawn
I let the world spin madly on"
~"World Spins Madly On" by The Weebies
To me, love is a great deal many things. Love is a bond in every case, though. This particular form of love that I am trying to portray here is one of the strongest forms in my opinion--it is the love of someone who continues to love, through long-suffering, through rejection, through pain--someone who continues to look out for someone, even at the cost of themselves.
Not a stalker kind of love. That isn't even love.
An endless devotion. Even if that person wanted to let go, they can't. It's too painful to think the one you spent your entire life protecting and loving... No longer loves you back or wants anything to do with you.
So you stay by thier side, watching over them, even though it's now from a distance.
I guess you could say I have experience in this. Portraying it was very hard to do, especially using so much symbolism and spending several hours on it, using up almost two entire ink pens.
But I hope you all like it at least.
Pleas enjoy, and remember this artwork belongs to me, please do not steal or use in any way. Thank you.
