"as the FEATHER flies, my hopes come along with it..."
- a quote made by me :)
As I mentioned in this post, a lot of things are bothering me especially since they all connect with the earthquake that happened in Japan last March 11.
My classmate's mother works in Japan and is gone missing. And my classmate lost contact with her, even the Philippine Embassy hasn't given verification to her whereabouts over whether she is still alive. They still haven't got any calls from his mother yet until now.
I feel sorry for him since I can really see my friend's expression of grief... even if he's a boy. His father already died and his mother worked in Japan for 6 years and comes back in the country twice a year. We will be graduating in High School this coming April 7 and his mother made a promise to go back here in the Philippines and attend to our graduation. He really looks forward to it and I feel so sorry for him.
Here in the Philippines, according to the government, an earthquake may occur since the Marikina Valley Fault is presumed to be moving. It was already predicted 4 years ago. Knowing its vicinity (see it in Wikipedia), it can cause damage to wide range of cities and provinces - including us. It possesses a threat of a large scale of earthquake with magnitude 7 or higher. It already freaks me out right now. I fear for a lot of people, my grandparents and my own life.
I pray for Japan, my friend's mother and of course, for the Philippines.
I dedicate this card to my friend.
