I have been trying different things with layers and such and working with GIMP more and I am starting to like my results with my work. I also have been looking at other's cards and trying to copy their designs to help better my skills and I have to say right now I really am liking my work. My more serious cards I put more effort into because they really are meant to be, in this case, inspirational.

Now this is our favorite Russia, and to be honest I do love his character even though he is considered to be creepy and what not. But I wanted to capture a different side of him so I decided to do his love for Sunflowers and make this nice card because Russia isn't all that bad. ;P

Took some time to make it but I really do like the outcome and I hope it does well in the contest.
