Finally entering this challenge! My reason for smiling...dogs. Well, especially MY DOG. :) This is Totoro (yes, like My Neighbor Totoro). <3 He's 11...and still is as lively as ever. XDD He can be a jerk to me quite often, but regardless, he's an absolute cutie. Dogs are one thing that make me smile immediately. I see a doggy, I smile. My dog makes me smile everyday. Even after 11 years! Pets are there to comfort and make you happy, and my little Totey does just that. He could be better behaved though. >>

This is the original photo. We actually had it printed out big and have it hanging in our hallway. I love how it turned out. I took it with my Nikon D3000. So yeah...for the card, I just did little things like add some blue, sharpen his eyes some...and yeah, not a whole lot. Then the typography. I couldn't think of anything else to do to the pic of him cause he already looked adorable. XDD
