When I think of NYC, it's the "C" part-- City-- that stands out the most to me. The traffic, the sprawling streets, the multitudes of people, and behind them, big-city culture. Urban fashion, youthful passion. Maybe it's just because I'm a young person, but to me, some of the romance of the Big Apple is really captured in urban youth-- hip hop and street dancing and graffiti-style art. It's something that connects a big city like NYC to a similarly-charged one halfway across the globe in Tokyo.
