When I first heard of Casshern Sins, I thought it looked interesting, and the artwork is just beautiful! I love the old school Megaman look as well as the dynamic action scenes.

I watched the first two episodes on Funimation's channel and fell in love with Casshern's encounter with Ringo at the beach. The scene was drawn out so beautifully, and it was a nice contrast from the fighting scenes. At first, I was planning on drawing Casshern in a fighting pose just so I could play with those awesome lines that are emphasized in the fight scenes, but I couldn't pass up trying my hand at drawing a calming scene between Casshern and Ringo.

I chose to paint the picture in watercolors so I could get that soft ocean feel I loved so much in that scene. (At least I hope I conveyed that soft feel between the two.) Blending the images was fun, and the paint splatter is supposed to mimic ocean spray. All in all I had a great time working on this, and it was a nice learning experience with watercolor. Enjoy.
