Ah! This took so much of my sleep time! But yep, this is for FUNimation's challenge: My Myx.

I saw this challenge long ago but I totally forgot about it, and so now I just saw it again and I drew this in about 2 days. Haha! I spent too much time on coloring and shading myself that I quickly just sketched out the rest of the pic. Originally the background was white and I opened up my ugly green layer that helps me see if I missed a spot, and guess what? It turned out to be a chalkboard!! I was so happy I didn't have to stick to a white background!!

Anywho, on with describing myself...

Me in the pic:
-I have big eyes and so I drew myself with them. I'm 18 right now, but honestly I don't look like it and I don't feel like it. Haha! I recently hacked off my bangs and hair shorter, so I had to change my original sketch. -_-; I often put my hair on a ponytail, partly because my dad says to tie my hair or it'll fall all over the place. Hahaha!! Such exageration! I also have a lot of volume in my hair, which I don't like at all since I rarely dress up my hair. I like to do freestyle, I guess. I like wearing black, not cuz I'm emo, but it's a nice color that always goes well with me. Sometimes I would wear pink, too, just for the fun of it. ^_^ The arm warmers I drew symbolize that my hands are always cold for some reason. I think I have had bad circulation on my hands and feet for as long as I can remember.

The guy in my daydream:
-You're probably wondering who he is, right? Well, let's just say there's not one day that I don't think of him.

Cinnamoroll: (C)Sanrio
-My favorite Sanrio character! It's sooo cute!!! I have this huge stuffed Cinnamoroll on top of my bedframe and I love it!! It's my favorite out of all my stuffed animals up there. The others are probably jealous...

Squirtle:
-My favorite Pokemon. It's tooooo cute and funny! Notice that the Squirtle is laughing at my daydream. Haha! I can hear it laughing now...

Stars and Flowers flying around:
-My name means "Starflower" so I put them around. Plus I love star and flower shapes. <3 It's like a logo that identifies me.

Technical stuff on the top left:
-I'm really hi-tech so I drew my mp3, earphones, laptop, tablet and accessories, and a video game controller. I guess you can say I'm the most techie girl in my family heh heh. And I love video games! Altho I'm not really into the shooting and fighting ones...

Sneakers:
-I love sneakers! Can't live without them! I'm really tomboyish so if we go shopping for shoes, I'd be looking at the sneakers only ahahaha! I don't care that much for heels unless I need them.

A++:
-Symbolizes perfection. I strive for perfection in everything I do and I'm a total perfectionist... ugh... With this quality, I hate to admit failure and be humilated too. Also because of this, I don't like to let people down. I try to make sure that what I need to do gets done on time for them. I tend to think of others first before myself.

Wooden Sword/Cross:
-Symbolizes courage in me. I like to touch interesting bugs and I'm not afraid of the dark. Heh heh! There aren't much things that I'm afraid of. Most of my fears are psychological/mentally or something like that now that I think about it. Probably the only bugs I can't handle are centipedes and millipedes. Ew~~
-Also symbolizes Christ and God as the center of my life. I'm very happy to have salvation.

Oversized, Humongous Pair of Hands:
-Symbolizes giving and things made/done with my hands. I'm a very giving person and I love to make things with my hands. Notice the things that are dropping from the hands are things I either give or make with my own hands.
-Includes: gifts, baking, jewelry, ceramics, candy, drawings, etc.

Knotted string on Finger:
-Symbolizes my forgetfulness. I'm very forgetful and I probably can only remember things if I totally worry about it or I write it down on a piece of paper.

Goldfish:
-I love goldfish now that I read Kingyo Sou by Yuki Fujitsuka. =^_^= It's such a cute and touching manga!

Music notes:
-Symbolizes my likeness for singing and music. Although I'm not that good ahahaha!

Camera and photos:
-I love photography! My dream is to take a PERFECT portrait of someone or myself. Heh heh!

Flying papers, lead pencil, and eraser:
-My basic traditional supplies to draw. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and I can never get tired of it!

Wing:
-I always liked wings so I thought I would draw one on here. ^_^

My Name:
-This is technically my nickname but I get most commonly called this. I'm so used to it now ahahaha! I picked a simple font cuz I don't like to be flashy or to extravagent. I added a heart replacing the o to give it a nice touch. :D

Dedicated to FUNimation... why not, huh? She made the challenge and it was really fun!

Overall this was really fun to draw! I love how it came out! It's worth all the sleep I lost hahahaha!!!
