OTL a day after I said I'd post..but anyways this is my contest entry for a group on DA and I'm doubling it up as an entry for the Picturing Spring challenge here because I REALLY wanted to enter with this~(even though I mostly did this for myself but you get the idea xDD)

I think one of the most pure representations in the world for Spring has to be just a peaceful walk among cherry blossoms~ Byakuya is usually a relatively ruthless character, who rarely shows emotion but here I wanted to portray a bit of a softer side of him because at times he really is just covering up his soft-heartedness haha~ Cherry blossoms usually bloom anywhere from January to May I believe, right around spring time. And the blossoms just really make you feel happy inside ^^

Happy Belated Birthday, Kuchiki Byakuya!

Yes, belated...his birthday was January 31st xD I actually had started it that weekend but I've been so busy this past week, I've had no time to actually finish until today T__T

His face was SO difficult for me.. I have no clue why but it just was OTL.
And those are supposed to be cherry blossom trees lightly in the background >.<

Done completely in pencil and colors/contrast adjusted in Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0
