My first entry for Maji De's challenge Only Using Pen!

I did this between 2-3 hours last night in my free time, since I've caught up with the 30 Drawing Challenge I'm doing with some Otaku friends <3
So, this is done only with a black ballpoint pen... actually two black ballpoint pens seeing one of them flows more nicely and helped with darker patches. I chose to do an owl since I got inspired after looking through some pen drawings on DA, most of which were birds. Plus, it wasn't too hard to do since all the detail actually covers up my base lines >:3

I was looking at a Wikipedia article about ballpoint pen art, and I found a quote there saying "Ballpoint artist James Mylne has described the required level of focus as meditative [when doing art with a ballpoint pen]" which is so true. Its almost trance-like once you get into a groove with using pen xD and if you have to leave your ballpoint pen art, its harder to get back into it again >P<

Maji De, you are a genius for making this challenge!! I can't wait to enter again <3
