This will probably be my last entry to OoAnBuOo's Griffon challenge (thankyou so much to AnBu for allowing me to enter so many times, it got me out of an art block!!!)

I did a Falcon gryphon in this piece (sorry its not batman, despite the title) :) I wanted to give this guy a feathered tail but it wasn't turning out very well. And I experimented more with the background... I saw some abstract and cool digital art on DA which inspired me to work on finding the sweet spot between sloppiness and over-detail! It was actually fun not being too concerned with the background.
I also made it into a black and white version~
