Man I'm so in love with this griffon design OoAnBuOo created it and dedicated her drawing to me for part of our art trade. I definitely had to draw this griffon for her in return!
The only difference is that I gave this guy more of an eagle head whereas AnBu's one had a snowy white owl head. I hope you don't mind, AnBu!

Making this artwork was quite different then usual... I started by drawing his head and arms in my notebook, went over it with marker, then realized I didn't have enough room for the wings since I changed their pose last minute :P SO then I took a picture of the partial lineart with my new cellphone! It takes great pics and is so much more convenient. Then today, I got inspired to finish this off with digitally drawing in the wings and rest of the body as well as colouring it. The rock slab is a free photo texture which you can see here.

This was a blast to draw and I really hope you enjoy it, AnBu-chan!!! The rest of my side of our art trade will eventually follow this!
