Hello everyone here's another fan art from me and my entry for "My Number One" fan art challenged hosted by Nikkeh09.

One of favorite characters has always been Sailor Jupiter (Makoto Kino) from Sailor Moon. I looked up to her when I was a little girl. I always thought she was cool with her thunder and lightening powers. And also when she would fight one on one with enemies and kick their butts using her powerful strength. And I always admired how she looked out for her friends too. In my opinion I always thought she was the strongest Sailor Senshi though the others are very powerful too.

I worked on this drawing all afternoon. I started out drawing this in pencil like I always do. It took me forever to get her hands and legs right. Then I traced it out with my artist pen for more permanence (and cuz pencil is just messy and when you color with just the pencil lines,everything sort of smears) and it just makes cleaner lines and makes the lineart stand out better.
The coloring portion took maybe an hour or so. I'm happy with how it turned out. It took me all day to complete overall.

I took a picture of the completed artwork on my phone so I apologize for the slightly poor quality. I tried my best to touch it up in Photoshop with gradients and an action.
