A parody of many anime shows out there.

The common scene where the main character is enchanted by another character doing whatever the main theme of the show is.

I think it's unrealistic and it's also annoying...Why can't they come up with something more original in the first place, and second if the main character thought it was boring before, why would he care after watching somebody else do it?

It would probably go more like this:

Mainie: Ugg, THING is sooo boring.
Mainie sees WHATSISFACE doing THING
Mainie: THAT'S SO COOL! I wanna do that, too!
Mainie does THING
Mainie is bored

Yup, yup, yup.

I don't mean to make fun of anime, I feel like I've been doing that lately. It's just easier to make critical jokes of things you love than supportive.
