I must sound pompous by making a lolita fashion webcomic but I'm going to be honest. I have been a follower of the fashion for many years and would like to help others better understand the rights and wrongs of lolita.
Do you have to follow everything I tell you? No, you don't. But when I first got into lolita I was called ita and it hurt. If you go into a huge internet lolita community there are going to be people who are brutally honest and flat out tell you that "your dress is not lolita, its cosplay and you need to learn what lolita really is!"
My point is that you may think you know what lolita is and may think my rules are just a load of crap... But I want to help people know proper lolita before they jump in, buy their first dress, and are called "ita" like I was.
When you get the hang of the fashion you can experiment outside of the guidelines but for now play it safe by following the rules! (lolita don't like to call them "rules" but they are what they are.)
