sometimes when people sell maid dresses they'll call it lolita because 1: they don't know the difference, 2: they want people (who don't know the difference) to buy it.
alot of people think that if it is black and white its gothic lolita. but again, it has to follow certain aesthetics and guidelines which, after i finish the laws, i'll tell you about.
some lolita dresses may be maid "inspired" but are never actual maid dresses. i'll explain in the next page that has yet to be made!
