Happy Birthday Josephine!!
Technically, it's still the 11th here so I've yet to receive theO's notice for your birthday, but since I saw the posts in your world and remembered your birthday was on the 12th, I thought I'd give you an early (here) gift.
I've been working on this wall for over a week, finding exactly what suited the vector and getting something I was happy with. I'm sorry that it's nothing K-Pop or anything, but I thought it was happy and cute, and there's a cupcake on it. I thought it would make a nice gift, in case I don't have time online tomorrow to make you something better at least~
--------
Making this wall, as I said, has taken about a week. Many false starts, many experiments with typo, a theme, ideas for the background and all that jazz. I was partly inspired by the original background on the vector and then I just decided to do some random brush work and gradients and go from there.
At first I had used a very pale gradient that went from white, to pink and then to orange-pink and it was just to pale and to bland. The colors didn't POP and look vibrant, like the vector. I made the gradient background a separate layer, cut it out and pasted it again, and reversed it and put it on the "dissolve blend mode". It really made the colors stand out and it made them a lot darker and richer.
After that, I already had the ideas of the colored strips with the text on it. What to make the text say, I didn't know. I sorta just put words about the cupcake together on it. Each of the strips are on the "screen blend mode" so their color stands out, but fades with the gradient.
Then I decided to add some "half tone" to it, but finding half tone brushes and stuff wouldn't work because my brushes are only 255x255 in size - VERY TINY. So, I just used a plain normal circle brush and sorta made my own. In a sense. I changed the colors, and the orange circle on the left side is also on the screen blend mode.
Then I threw some hearts on it and did some other typo there on the bottom.
It's nothing great I suppose, but I hope you like it dear <3
