I've been interested in the Black Rock Shooter franchise for some time now, but I didn't get around to watching the OVA until now. It was okay, but I had a few problems with it. For one thing, showing the events of the story out of order was a little confusing. Plus I felt they spent too much time on the how the friendship of the two girls developed, and not enough time on the action. Plus it seemed to me that they needed to explain a few things, like what exactly is this other world, and how did these girls merge with their other selves? Not exactly helpful for people new to the franchise (like myself). I mean I got what was going on, it just seemed like there could've been a little more exposition. I also would've liked it if there was actual dialogue between Black Rock Shooter and Dead Master (would've helped with the exposition).

Anyway, the OVA inspired me to make a few wallpapers. This one is the first. I found the image on Zerochan, and I didn't do too much to it. I added a cloud texture to brighten it up a little, and also added those green circles to fill in spots that I thought were a little empty. Choosing the font for the text was a little hard, but I think what I chose works. Enjoy.
