This is my entry for the UGH That's so Mainstream challenge. My wallpaper features Edo/Aster Phoenix from Yu-Gi-Oh GX and in the anime he is a celebrity. I had a lot of fun creating this wallpaper from making the background to the little TV collage. My favorite part was arranging the typography and I made the word celebrity multicolored so it would stand out. My favorite though has to be the little TV collage. I found an image of an old fashioned TV and used it in my wallpaper. The lyrics are from Brad Paisley's song "Celebrity". That song inspired this wallpaper. rnI find celebrities very annoying at times. Celebrities are very mainstream and they're everywhere in our media. They're on TV, the radio, magazines,etc. I couldn't narrow my annoyance down to one celebrity so I figured I'd cover the whole general idea of celebrities. I think it's annoying when celebrities act like they're better when we are. They don't acknowledge their fans, they seem like they have their noses stuck up in the air most of the time. I know a lot of celebrities aren't like this. The celebrities that annoy me the most are the Kardashians, I hear about them almost everyday on TV. I can't name them all by name but I know one of them was barely married for a month. Come on, a month? Or was it a few days, I can't remember. Anyway I thought it was stupid she divorced him when they barely entered their marriage. Celebrities do this all the time, they get tired of being married but yet they have a huge wedding that costs millions of dollars and then they get divorced the next day. These are the things I'm honestly sick of. If you don't like the guy, don't marry him. Seriously all these celebrities annoy me with their plastic surgery and their fake smiles in front of the camera. I mean when one of them messes up and has a problem, the newspapers and magazines are all over it. But when someone better comes along, that celebrity is instantly forgotten and all the attention is focused on the "newer and better" celebrity.
