This is my second entry for the Typography Madness challenge. This wallpaper was definitely a challenge to create. This is my first time dealing with arranging abunch of text at once. For my text I used the lyrics from a song by Taylor Swift that she sang for the Hunger Games movie. It's called "Eyes Open." I thought it fit well with the artwork. Katniss is always looking over her shoulder because something or somebody is always after her. She's always got to keep her eyes open.
I really loved Itemi's art of Katniss. Katniss was drawn in a unique anime style and I love how she's looking over her shoulder. In the wallpaper I wanted to create a broken effect because so much stuff happens to Katniss over the course of the Hunger Games books. I won't say what they are for spoiler reasons but anyway I wanted to show Katniss in a mirrored effect. The dark city represents the Captial in the Hunger Games books and the glass is all of the horrors the Capital inflicts. I hope everyone enjoys the wallpaper.
