I am such a huge fan of Macross Frontier and when I saw this scan I just had to make a wallpaper with it. This year is the 30th Anniversary of the Macross Franchise as a whole. I can't believe it's been around that long. I haven't honestly watched all of the Macross animes besides Macross Frontier but they sound awesome. I really love Macross Frontier because of the music and the story. The music is what drew me to Macross Frontier in the first place. I love Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome when they sing. They sound so beautiful together. Linn Minnmay sounds beautiful when she sings. I saw a clip of her singing Ai Oboete Imasuka(Do You Remember Love?) and Ranka also sang it too. The song is seriously beautiful.
I didn't want to overwhelm the scan with a bunch of textures so I just used two and that was it. It gave it just the right look I wanted. I really like how it turned out and I was going for a magical look. I want to dedicate this wallpaper to Aria Sky because her amazing wallpapers and art inspire me so much. I also know she loves colorful themes so I made this colorful too. I hope everyone enjoys the wallpaper. I hope you like it Aria Sky, thanks for being so awesome!
