I was bored and killing time on TheO (as usual), and although I usually stalk the eCards section for spiffyness, I decided to explore the wallpapers area and found this challenge. At the time, I had NO idea what/who The Rasmus was, but being the music-obsessed freak who listens to everything that I am, I decided to try out some of their songs and immediately fell in love with In the Shadows (hence, the lyrics on this wallpaper).

So I decided to do something different from what I usually do this time. Since I have a really bad habit of using loads and loads of textures, I decided to lay off on them this time. What I did was desaturate all of the Rasmus images that I got, toggle with their brightness, and then blend them. Afterwards, I made a layer and played with gradients for a bit to give it some life, and then added a texture as a final touch.
