Seventh Spark:
[Dia wakes up slowly the next morning with Eduardo’s arms wrapped around her and his face buried in the crook of her shoulder]
Dia: [blushing furiously] Ed…uardo?
Eduardo: [mumbling in his sleep] Mmmm… Dia… [nuzzles closer to her]
Dia: Eduardo?! [thinking] Oh crap! My heart feels like it’s going to burst!!!
Eduardo: Dia…? [waking up] [yawns and nuzzles closer]
Dia: Uh… good… morning…
Eduardo: Mmm? [lazily opens his eyes] Oh, good morning. [lets her go and sits up]
Dia: [doesn’t move] Y-Yeah…
[Eddie walks over to her and rubs against her face, meowing]
Eduardo: Does that thing ever shut up?
[Dia sits up and picks up Eddie]
Dia: It’s just hungry. [stands up and walks over to her small bag of clothes after setting the cat down] I’ll be right back. Can you watch Eddie for me? Thanks! [leaves]
Eduardo: … So loud…

[Dia walks into the room after knocking four times]
Dia: Yo! Is Eddie still here?
[She sees Eddie sitting on the bed, his fur neatly groomed, with a light blue ribbon tied into bow around his neck. Once she registers the adorableness, she starts spouting random and nonsenable words and phrases. Eventually, she can make sense.]
Dia: SOOOO CUUUUTEEE!!! [snatches up the cat and snuggling it] OH MY GOD YOU’RE THE MOST ADORABLE THING EVER!!!!
Eduardo: [rubbing his ears] How much louder can you be? [she finally notices Eduardo sitting on the corner of the bed polishing his gun]
Dia: [starfish smiling face] Did you do this???? [holding up Eddie with stars in her eyes]
Eduardo: No idea what you’re talking about.
Dia: But you’re the only other one in this room!
Eduardo: Still no idea what you’re talking about.
Dia: Hmph. NO matter what you say, [winks] I still think you did this. So thanks. [smiles broadly and talking to the cat] Now, let’s get you some food! I’m sure Nate has something extra for you to eat! [walks out]

[Dia’s wandering around after dropping off Eddie with Nathan]
Eduardo: Yo. Dia.
Dia: Hey! [smiles]
Eduardo: Where’s the Demon Cat?
Dia: [thinking] Demon Cat?! [speaking] He’s with Nate and for the record, he has a name.
Eduardo: Yes. And it’s Demon Cat.
Dia: Jeeze… what has Eddie ever done to you?
Eduardo: Nothing yet.
Dia: Wait… are you… SUPERSTITIOUS??
[Eduardo looks away]
Dia: [laughing her butt off] Oh, my gosh! That- That’s the LAST thing I’d expect from you!!!
Eduardo: [pulls out his gun] Tell someone and die.
Dia: Okay! Okay! [smiles and glomps his arm]
Eduardo: How many times do I have to tell you-
Dia: I know~ Stop clinging~
Eduardo: Then why don’t you listen to me?
Dia: [puts her hand to her chin] I actually dunno why.
Eduardo: [wicked smile] I’m beginning to think that you enjoy the punishments I give you.
Dia: That is in NO WAY remotely true!
Eduardo: That’s the only reason I can think of.
Dia: Doesn’t make it true!
Eduardo: Oh? Enlighten me.
Dia: It’s kind of fun. Irritating you, I mean. You’re kinda cute when you’re mad, you know.
Eduardo: … You’re a strange one.
Dia: But you love me.
Eduardo: That’s debatable.
Dia: If I really bugged you, you would have thrown me overboard by now.
Eduardo: [looks away] Hmph.
Dia: [snuggles] You really are adorable sometimes.
