Tenderness of an Angel [One Shot]

Soon after, I started distancing myself further and further from Rin's apartment. I kept replaying our kiss over and over in my head. He was more in shock that I was, though he didn't pull away. Could it be possibly that maybe he.......?

I paused my thoughts when I bumped into something hard. I closed my eyes tightly as I was pushed back. I growled when I opened my eyes to glare at the person who ran into me, but I realize I had wandered into a dark alleyway filled with a gang of guys.

"Shit...." I mumbled.

"Guess I have made a wrong turn. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I'll just be going now..." I told them as I turned around.

"Oh no you don't, girlie!"

The man I bumped into grabbed my arm tightly and twisted it behind my back. My bag dropped on the ground as I cried out.

"Let me go, you bastard!" I yelled at him angrily.

"I saw you with Kaneyo earlier today. I think you'll be perfect bait for drawing him to us." He whispered in my left ear.

I growled again. I wasn't going down without a fight.

I kicked my leg back, hitting his crotch. He let me go me to soothe the pain. I jumped into the air and twirl kicked him in his face. He grunted to the impact and fell down to the ground. One of his guys charged at me with a right punch. I kept watching him and dodged to the left to avoid his punch. He attacked again, but used his left. I ended up dodging to my right. Before he could make another move, I knelt down on both of my hands and twirl kicked his ankles. He fell back on the ground. I jumped up again and landed my feet on his stomach. Another one of his guys charged at me, but with a sword.

“Now I want you to behave.” He demanded me.

I spat in his face when he got close enough. He chuckled as he wiped my saliva from underneath his right eye. He tightly held onto the handle of the man’s blade and thrust it through my chest. He had aimed for my heart, but he missed by about a couple inches. I widened my eyes when the agony shrouded my body. Tears filled inside my eyes and trickled down my cheeks. A metallic taste traveled down my throat, making me cough out something warm and crimson. I saw that I was my blood. After spitting it out, some of it trickled down the side of my mouth. My breath shortened more as I tried to gasp for air. My vision began to get hazy. I couldn’t see clearly. The last thing I saw before my vision faded into darkness was the smirk on the leader’s face. Soon after, I fell into an internal dark consciousness.
