I casually walked into the classroom, with my arms embracing the back of my head. The teacher eyed me as I walked past his desk.
“Yeah, I know I’m late old fart.” I told him as I sat in my desk one seat from the wall.
“It seems that Miss Aoi-san is absent today. What a shame.” The teacher sighed in disappointment.
I glanced at the desk behind me and thought about Aoi. It was weird that she would miss class on her second day of school. Then our kiss came into mind.
“Wait, she was acting strange after that kiss. Could it be that she’s avoiding me?” I thought calmly.
“Why would she avoid me after she was the one that kissed me? Nervous maybe? Embarrassed? Ashamed?” I thought again.
I scoffed at my thoughts and shrugged them off. Why should I care? It’s not like I have feelings for her or anything…………….
I pondered on that thought for a minute. She did accept me after hearing about my past. She was the first girl who didn’t think of me as a monster and tried to get close to me. She was the first girl to…….kiss me……………….
I shook my head to clear that thought.
I’m a delinquent. Delinquents don’t fall in love. We don’t give a shit about anything or anyone. The teacher calling on me snapped me from my thoughts.
“Kaneyo-san, can you solve this problem on the board?” He asked me.
I scoffed at him.
“Pft, you know I can’t, you old fart. You should that by now.” I answered him.
He sighed out in irritation, causing a delightful smirk to curve up on my lips.
“Then perhaps you should listen more to my lectures.” He suggested for me.
“I would if they weren’t so boring.”
He sighed again.
“Just pay attention.” His voice snapped at me.
“Whatever….” I answered him.
