I used to hug you,
to hold you close to me.
Used to kiss you,
Feel your lips so sweet.
Always seen you,
each and every day.
Seen you smile,
at everything I'd say.
Now you're gone,
in a dark, deserted place.
You're in a desert,
I no longer see your face.
We used to have love,
It was there to stay.
Used to be happy,
Now it's gone away.
I'm the only one left,
full of sadness and pain.
Only one dead,
Lonely and drained.
Our love was alive,
So very long ago.
Love is so blind,
mostly it's a show.
Now it is gone,
along with your heart.
It still hurts,
It just tears me apart.
It died long ago,
along with everything else,
died, and disappeared,
as everything melts.
Our love just died,
never meant to stay alive.
