News: DC New 52 to introduce an alternate universe Superman

As DC Comics is getting ready to launch ongoing comci books series Earth-2 and World's Finest (Vol. 5), it is now planning a story to feature a Superman from a universe other than the DCnU, but still within the mainstream continuity. This will be a chance for Superman readers to see more alternate universe versions of the man of steel himself after 52, and this time, the protagonal Superman of this story is fighting a Superman surragate from a universe separate from his, thos multiverse cross travel. This adventure tale will be featured in Action Comics (Vol. 2) No. 9, scheduled for release sometime ine May.

News: Smallville Season 11 Comic

The hit T.V. series Smallville (2001) may be over, but DC Comics is planning to create a digital comic book series sequel to the groundbreaking sci-fi action series itself to focus on Clark Kent's first year as Superman. This series, titled Smallville Season 11, will run on a weekly basis starting April 13 with print version run to begin on May 16.

Hopefully, this will answer questions the Smallville T.V. series left unaswered, such as "What are Lex Luthor's reasons for running for United States president and what is to become of the superhero community now that Lex is in political power?" and "How long will it be until Clark finally has the chance to marry his current love interest Lois Lane?"
