Dino led the way. He opened the door and motioned for everyone to follow.
It was dark inside.
“Ouch!” Hime cried, “Who’s stepping on my foot?”
“So~ who is on top of me?” Francis asked.
“Ouch! That’s my hair!” Mocha cried.
“It’s very narrow in here…and dark!” Jenny said.
“Oh! There’s a switch. Hold on…one second…”
THUMP. Dino fell over, but caught the switch on his way down. He stood up and rubbed his chin as everyone stared in awe. The room was huge. There were enough beds for everyone, a dining area, a kitchen and an adjoining bathroom.
“Dino? Did you?” Dante asked, an eyebrow raised.
“Awesome! Did you make this place, Dino?” Danni asked.
Chero looked around and smiled, “It’s…Amazing!”
“How did you do this?” Francis asked.
“Ugh…” Kiki moaned.
“You’re awake!” Mocha cried.
“Where am I? Don’t tell me…Did we get out?...Hopeful thinking…” Kiki sighed.
“We have a lot to talk about…” Dino said, “But we have to sleep first. We are all worn out. We should also stop and eat.”
“Yeah. If we talk now…I can’t listen like this!” Danni said.
“We should all have healing if we need it…and then sleep,” Dante said.
“Jenny, you got hurt when you jumped in front of that monster earlier. Let me wrap up those wounds…Is there a first aid kit?” Mocha asked.
“Si, in one of the drawers in the back.” Dino said, “ Those without any problems should sleep now. This room is protected…I have tested it many times.”
Chero smiled brightly, “Hiiime~ You sleep next to me! And Dino! You can sleep next to me too! I’ll sleep in the middle.”
Hime smiled. Chero seemed happy, “Well duh! But you two better behave! I need some sleep!”
Chero and Dino both turned red at Hime’s comment.
“H-hey!” Chero pouted.
“I get to sleep next to Dante!” Danni called.
Dante chuckled, “Of course.”
Everyone went off in different areas in the room. Some people ate food, some slept and others explored the room. Hime wandered around. Dino spotted Hime wandering.
“If you’re tired, you can go to sleep,” Dino said.
“I am the one who feels incompetent now. Did you do this all by yourself?” Hime asked.
“When I first came here, it was almost finished. So…It’s fair to say that someone else did it,” he said.
“This room must have taken months, or even years to make.”
“Most likely. Oh, there are toilets in the back room, along with baths and showers.”
Hime nodded, “I may take a soak for a bit before I sleep.”
Hime walked into the bathroom and saw Jenny washing her hands.
“After Mocha’s help, I feel a lot better!” Jenny grinned.
Hime smiled and nodded, “Thank you for what you did for Chero earlier. Since I broke a clock earlier without anyone knowing…my mind has been all over the place.”
“No need to thank me! I am willing to do anything for my mommy~ Grandma.”
Hime laughed, “I am the most BA grandma you will meet!”
“Yup! Telling everyone else beforehand really seemed help the situation out.”
“You were also very mature about the whole situation…I appreciate that.”
“Thank you…It is because I don’t want to lose any of my friends…Chero…She is hiding something from us, isn’t she?” Jenny sighed.
Hime nodded, “Everyone has bound to have noticed it by now. I hope she tells us tomorrow…”
“I wonder if she really will. She has her determined face on…as if she thinks that ordinary measures will not work.”
Hime sighed and closed her eyes, “Yes…I feel it is as you say. I can’t help but thinking that she looks like someone who has been standing all alone in a very far place for a very long time…”
Jenny gave Hime a reassuring smile, “Then we will have to run over there and catch her!”
Hime smirked, “We shall all catch her together.”
Jenny nodded and left the restroom. Hime took a nice soak in one of the bath tubs and turned in for the night. She slept next to Chero. Just like she promised.
