Dino led the group down into the cave. He looked around, confused.
“Dino? Is something wrong?” Hime asked.
“Nothing. Well…I wanted to move the object that made me trip yesterday…” Dino
said.
“That is a good idea, we would not want anyone else to trip. Though…you could trip over air~” she teased.
Dino chuckled, “Si si….But it’s odd…I can’t find a single vine…or rock or...well…anything that could have caused me to trip.”
“WHAT?! THIS IS LIKE A HORROR MOVIE. OMG. …IF SLENDERMAN SHOWS UP I AM ENDING THIS FANFIC…YOU HEAR ME CHERO?!” Jenny shouted at the sky.
“…Are you ok, Jenny?” Hime asked.
“…yes…sorry…”
Dino shook his head, “I’m sure I tripped right here. It is as if…nothing was here to begin with…”
Chero closed her eyes, “That’s right…when Dino didn’t fall. It was never there, but when Dino tripped…It was as if something was wrapped around his ankle…it would not let him move…It’s as if…”
“It’s as if someone tripped you and wouldn’t let you move,” Francis said.
“Now that I think about it…I only assumed it was a vine. But it really did feel as if someone…grabbed my ankle…” Dino said.
“EEK! STOP STOP! Let’s not talk about this. There is nothing here. LALALA!” Jenny
cried.
“Grabbed…It’s like a hand sprung out of the ground and grabbed your ankle,” Dante smirked.
“And tried to drag you into the eaaaarth~” France added.
“AAAHH! STOP!” Jenny cried.
“It was probably just my imagination!” Dino exclaimed.
“Yes. Now…let’s go to the place where Chero said she would talk to us,” Hime said.
“Hm? Oh! Sorry! That place where Francis, Jenny and Danni were locked in. That cell. That is where I want us to go,” Chero said.
Hime nodded, “Let’s go then…and forget about this…”
“Right…” Dino said.
Dino waited while everyone else went ahead. He grabbed Chero’s hand to stop her.
“What have you been looking for, amore?” he asked.
“H-huh?! Nothing!” Chero said.
“Hm? What’s this?” Dino questioned, picking up something sparkling.
“OH!!” Chero gasped.
“This is what I saw. It might be useful, so I will hold onto it,” Dino said.
“…Right…”
